  1. You got it. The midterms we're about putting a check on Trump if we had no good candidates. We can get rid of the corporate candidates who are up for election and while we are at it we will but Bernie in the Whitehouse. Nina Turner, Elizabeth Warren…I know Bernie has chosen a woman who is younger than himself but he didn't say who.

  2. hey yeah, f'em those dnc/dccc. why millions DEM exit. corporate dems are corrupted. jezz. can't wake up to reality. why we got trump. will never forget 2016 Dem Primary.

  3. All through the vid Howie describes the Democratic elites beating down progressives and at the end of the vid how the elites beat Sanders even though Sanders (not Hillary) was beating Trump. The Democratic party as an institution doesn't care about winning or stopping the fascists upsurge. They care about corporations. They are the grave yard of answers to global warming, permanent war, health care, and every other thing that matters.
There is far more chance of forming a working class third party than reforming the Country Club of the Democratic Party.

  4. A Blue Wave is coming – the Democratic establishment is working overtime to make sure that Progressives cannot profit from the mood – their donors expect them to prevent that. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slipped throught the cracks, they better do not let that happen more often. 15:13 – I disagree, the Democratic Party establishment are not fools or unable to learn from history. The process works exactely as it should.

Sure – Democratic politicians would like to win in general elections for instance the presidency in 2016 (and HRC is pissed off for personal reasons).

_The top priority is to keep the Big Donations

and to get Corporate Dems elected

or to lose dutifully to Republicans.

Either way it suits the Big Donors._

In case you have wondered WHY the Democratic party slanders third party and voters, ignore the NUMBERS and election analysis. Why they are much more upset about THOSE voters and hardly ever mention the CROSS voters or non-voters that vastly outnumber them and have much more impact on the outcome.

Cross voters do not challenge the status quo and the party duopoly. That is why they talk about Jill Stein and even Johnson (the conservative / libertarian !) in 2016 and Nader in 2000 – the Dems had lost in each case in critical states hundreds of thousands of people who had voted for a Democrats before.

Normally there is a (partial) transition of power every 4 – 8 years (Congress, Senate, White House). The voters get fed up with one party and try the next "hope and change" fix.

The Blue Wave in 2006 was even BEFORE the financial crisis. The voters had enough of the war mongering.

The changing majorities enhance the illusion of choice and change for the voters.

  5. 12:51 TRANSCRIPT In 2006 there was the last big Blue Wave. Rahm Emanuel was the head of the DCCC and did everything he could to disadvantage Progressives all over the country, backing these terrible conservative Wall Street candidates.
Some of them were anti-gay, anti-choice, pro NRA and they were all Pro Wall Street.

He's a smart guy, there was a wave building and people would just go and vote for his atrocious candidates. In the primaries some of his bad candidates lost and the progressives won. Then he would cut ties with them and just gave up on those districts.

However, many of those candidates won anyway and some of them are still in Congress like Gerry McNerney for example or Carol Shea-Porter. *
You know what happened to every single one of Rahm's candidates ?
Not one of them is still in Congress because the next time there was a midterm the Democrats, the progressive Democrats said I'm not voting for this guy he votes with the Republicans all the time in Congress, he's terrible, I got sold a bill of goods

[* she will not seek reelection 2018]
And they all were defeated. That was in 2010 the next primary after 2006, and
people say: Oh look how badly the Democrats did

No all the candidates that Rahm snuck into Congress in this big wave they were all defeated. That doesn't mean that Democrats voted for Republicans, it just means they stayed home

I am looking at the same thing: People are going to vote in 2018 anyway and then 2020 is the presidential year, so they'll vote.

2022 will be a complete catastrophe for the Democratic Party. It is easy to see history repeating itself because these imbeciles at the DCCC never learn.

    Transcript slightly shortened

  6. The big Donors OWN both parties, they want a Republican or a Corporate Democrat on the ballot as "choice" for the voters. The role of the Dems is to WIN PRIMARIES against PROGRESSIVES resp. to keep them down by any means necessary. If the generic candidates / incumbents lose in the GE – first run or reelection – they will be taken care of (cushy jobs, contracts).

That is why Dems try to force outsider (grassroots) candidates who raise their own funds to use "campaign strategists" that are connected with the party. Like asking for a pledge to give them 80 % of the raised funds ….That way the money even of progressive candidates can be funneled towards the media and the loyalists connected to the party. Plus the party will get insider information and may even have influence on the strategy of every candidate via their guys.

    a) It gives the party in general undue influence – over the whole party and (new) candidates

and b) it is part of the scheme to reward low-key or short term candidates/incumbents when they help to defeat progressives.

Good fundraisers, politicians well connected with the party establishment and rich people will get more attention and help when they leave politics – they will be provided with cushy jobs, contracts, land at seat at the boards of big companies, …

  7. 12:00 Dems and Independents want candidates that can put a check on Trump, that is even more important than the issues. And of the issues healthcare tops everything else. ….. (if only there was a policy heralded by a popular politician the Dems could rally behind ….)

  8. its not too hard to understand US politics. Progressive policies serve the people…the 99%. ALL of our politicians are part of the elite, wealth class, so it's not hyperbole to say that EVERY politician (all rich people) WINS when progressives lose. It serves their own (and their fellow elites') interests to stifle progressive movements

  9. I could not view this video with my cell phone, it keeps stopping. Your other vids play fine. I use a VPN so whatever is the cause, it must be on YouTube's end. It plays 5 seconds and stops for 10, over and over.

  10. The DNC/DCCC’s top priorities are to 1). Keep Progressives out of office, or anyone left of the extreme right, 2). Bend the knee for their biggest donors, and C. Maybe, possibly win against a republican. They’re fine with Trump, but they loathe Bernie!

  11. The corporate democrats thinks something but cant quiet get a lock on it. Their addiction to money is so blinding them to reality. They don't have a chance and they won't have a chance. Pack your bags and get the hell out of our house and don't eat anything out of the refrigerator on the way out! That's our food too

  12. The DNC is going to run Hillary again in 2020. If you'll remember, she is entitled. The mid terms are not important to the DNC. If a few women get elected to congress they will be used to shame voters into voting for Hillary. Donald Drumpf will be re-elected, this time by a larger margin. The republicans will actually gain seats in both the house and senate. We in America are getting what we deserve.

By the way, a Sanders/Warren ticket would win in a landslide so of course it will NEVER be allowed. Don't waste your time thinking about it. It will NEVER, EVER be allowed !

  13. and who was it who sat there in Washington and did nothing while the Dems lost over 1000 seats in the states…… WHO WAS THAT……

  14. Our political system has trounced, excluded and denigrated the left for half a century. It has done the same thing around the world. This is not the behavior of a democratic country, but an authoritarian one. A bully.

It is time to rise up and organize a third party. We need the right voice with the necessary skills to do so. Any people can, and have, been taken over in such a way. But in all these lesser 'undemocratic countries' that we consider inferior, the people stand up. That we don't shows how illiterate 'we' are, and how little freedom of thought we, as a people, are content with.

  15. I supported the Democratic Party for 42 years. I will never again vote for ANYONE from the Democratic Party. It's a fake opposition run by the most corrupt people imaginable. It needs to be left to die because it cannot possibly be fixed. Unless or until a viable progressive, left-wing party forms in the USA I will stay at home and ignore the elections that provide absolutely no choice whatsoever. The USA is run by a one-party state that only exists to provide for the desires of the 1%.

  16. Sadly the democratic party will never reform there so called blue wave is a blue puddle due to the dems inability to reform and detach from corrupt neoliberalism and clintonism , the current approach of the dems will ensure Trump 2020 and Pence 2024 the way they are going. If by 2020 Chuck schumur, Nancy Pelosi and Diane Feisntein are still regarded as dem leadership then there is no way in Hell the dems will regain the whitehouse.

  17. They have no intention of learning because of that wealthy donor cash. Saving the party, winning elections, and doing what is best for the Country(bold progressive policies) is irrelevant to them. They are just greedy pricks with no integrity. They're what used to be called "Rockefeller Republicans"(socially liberal but conservative on everything else). They're just worst now because of the money in politics.

  18. What part of E. Warren stating, "I will not be running in 2020" do these people not understand? She has confirmed that several times. If she LIED about that, what else does she LIE about? I would not vote for Bernie if he has a liar as a running mate. Nope!

  19. Bernie won, but the Americans are so spineless that they can't go out to the streets to say that they have been screwed. Politics and the DNC are just a money laundering scheme. Follow the money, and you find the Trilateral Commission. They put in place a plan to take away American's political power in the 1970's. Now the US is fighting the wars for the Europeans and keeping them in oil. Get ready since they seem to be going into the end game. You see, they don't care about the Europeans either, and they are about to see that red, white and blue gigantic dick rammed up their ass like they did to the Americans, pardon me George Carlin for stealing your eloquence. There is no mention in European media that 100's of thousands of voters were screwed in this weeks primaries, and you guys are going to sleep. Ha, ha, make a joke and move on with your life. Stupid Sheeple.

  20. The primaries expose a BITTER REALITY – CORPORATE Democrats are PAID to lose by their corporate owners/bribers/"donors". That is the frightening and bitter REALITY!

  21. Are there any other Bernie supporters getting mail and surveys from the Republican Party. I've gotten 3 separate "surveys" from the Republican Party in the last two months. I have NEVER voted Republican…ever! This is going on here in Texas.

  22. "Democrats don't like it when Democrats attack other Democrats." This is why those of us who are principled and who care about justice need to leave the Democratic Party. I don't WANT to be allied with someone who can be characterized as a Conservative, or who takes money from Wall Street. You're either with us, or you're against us; and most of these Democrats are against us.

  23. There Is No Democratic Liberal Progressive Party, These Are Buzz Words. Most Democrat Legislators Are Owned By Corporations Banks Wall Street AIPAC Operatives (Lobbyist) Majority Of Democrat Legislation Passed Favors Corporations Banks Wall Street AIPAC Big Oil Big Pharma Corporate Farmers Monsanto Etc The Same Regarding Republicans They All Pass Legislation Favoring Their Corporate Masters
