10. I always wondered what Jesus meant when He told Peter "…the gates of Hell will not prevail against it" when He announced his intent to create the Church. I believe He was talking about what the pope is doing now in his acceptance or "blessing" of same sex unions. So true believers can rest assured that the Catholic Church will not change because Peter is considered the first Pope, and the Catholic Church is the first church born of Christianity.

    The pope should read and study God's word to be reminded that God doesn't change. He is the same as He was from the beginning. The pope should understand this basic truth and should be on this one accord. The Bible clearly tells us that God is unchanging. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8). Malachi 3:6 says, “I am the Lord, and I do not change…”

    The pope should read and study God's word to be reminded that God created, defined and instituted marriage in Genesis 2:24-25. Jesus reiterated and affirmed God's law for marriage in Matthew 19:4 but took it a step further by saying 'What God has joined together, let no man separate' and that includes the pope. This pope is a flawed man and is not a stand in for God on earth.

    The pope should also understand that the same sex ideology rejects the image of God but instead accepts the opposite as their "truth" that there is no such thing as male and female, that sex is fluid on a spectrum. Therefore, it is impossible for the same sex false doctrine to adhere to the Christian dictates of faith, specifically one that rejects and mocks God. These two cannot get along.

    Women priests, LGBT issues, blessing of same sex marriages not on the agenda. These are media issues to put pressure on the church. A centuries old institution is unlikely to buckle or wobble.

Im isolated and can't make it to the church i have no car and im in the middle of nowhere i need to be able to do confession and mass online this is very scary to me i isolated myself from sin and after i repented and seriously turned away from sin I'd like to be a Catholic and i simply can't, im willing to pay for this service and give my tithe to them, i dont want to stay out of gods grace and i feel scared my sins will never be forgiven im stuck as a protestant and i disagree with thier rebellion towards the church simply because they work hard for the word of God and deserve DOUBLE THE HONOR, i wish to be a sheep, not a goat

    So liberal miss guided claim that the widespread practice of the blessing of same-sex unions would be in accord with Revelation and the Magisterium (CCC 2357) is totally wrong. Sinful behavior should never get any type of blessing.
