I don't care that she's never held an elected position or that she may not have the most applicable experience, experience has not proven the most useful political attribute, but PLEASE just start announcing that you're going to fill these public servant positions (even a temp position like this) & choose party candidates who are absolutely the best people for the job. Just F'n lie to us. I realize the absolute best person for these various positions could come in any color & might even be gay (we don't give AF) but by announcing & choosing people based on color (& BTW we do know you get double 'woke points' when they're also gay) you are flat out telling us (YOUR EMP's) that you don't give a sh_t who would best serve your constituents, us tax payers. It's criminal enough that 'woke points' have now taken precedence over what best serves our country but the arrogance that they don't even feel the need to lie to those of us that see through this insanity is beyond horrific.

Could you imagine the uproar if you went to hire and said only seeking white males? Here’s a novel idea, disregard gender, race, ethnicity, religion as we are legally required to do so when selecting someone and base it on their qualifications.

9. Hate to ask a blindingly obvious question but, aren't Congressional Reps. and Senators supposed to live in, or at least OWN a residence in the state they represent? Or are we now at a place where Black privilege dictates that we waive that practice?

11. Well what did you expect from French Laundry Prima donna Gavin Newsom. He does what he wants and doesn't care if you don't like it. And he's a hypocrite but so are most of the rules for thee, but not for me Democrats. I don't care who she is the woman doesn't even live in CA and isn't even a CA registered voter and he thinks she should be representing CA in the US Senate. I know this wasn't an election pick but had it been, there are issues when a person has a house in an area/district but they don't actually live in it the majority of the time. This should be based on the same principles. Newsom is all about Newsom and should never be President of the U.S.
