  1. I have a suggestion. Invite guests from alternative news outlets, YouTube channels, whatever channels, and podcasts to your show. Even the ones you disagree with. I've already seen Anya Parampil from The Grayzone on Tucker Carlson Tonight. Here's some more information about climate change, from different sources, that goes more in depth. https://phys.org/news/2019-07-carbon-dioxide-climate-acontroversy.html https://www.noaa.gov/education/resource-collections/ocean-coasts/ocean-acidification https://www.ucsusa.org/resources/co2-and-ocean-acidification

  2. I commented about it many years ago that the forests MUST be protected; while most people were only or mostly speaking about CO2 being the cause of climate change, what most people then called global warming. It's taught in basic high school and certainly college biology courses, or it was when I was doing those years of schooling during the 1970s and 1980s in Quebec, Canada, that forests basically recycle CO2, producing it or some of it at night but transforming it into oxygen during daylight, f.e. Forests help to keep this planet in environmental equilibrium, say. And of course it's long been known that deforestation often leads to soil erosion, as well as desertification. I did a paper while in college during the early 1980s on the topic of desertification, a topic I chose by browsing through a book store, for we had to choose which topics we wanted to do our papers on or about; and, I chose a book about desertification in Africa. It was abnormal desertification and was due to very, very unfortunate deforestation, leading to very difficult consequences, very much because of the excessive soil erosion that was caused. Of course forests keep soil from excessively eroding, the roots holding the soil in place. Forests are ESSENTIAL for this planet to be healthy. It's scientific and irrefutable FACT. And this has been known for a very LONG time. The mega corporations that're responsible are run by PSYCHOPATHS; the farmers who buy into the marketing are a bunch of MORONS; and govts are very responsible in this due to psychopathically working in the profit interests of the mega corporations, as well as for being morons, both. Etc. Of course this could be stated with greater detail, for other parties are involved and are guilty for this involvement; but, I'll leave the comment at this. Longer, most people wouldn't be interested in reading the comment.

  3. Stop using the land to feed animals. By eating plants instead of feeding them to farm animals, 75% of the farm land could be returned to nature. Go vegan, if not for the animals or your health, how about the Earth…

  4. Is there no end to the IPCC agenda garbage,,,,, ,, scare us into perpetual funding and taxation ,, governments and the FN,, hideous,, all about projections and models and the real world is just fine,

if we look back in history we see the same things recuring time after time, ice meltin, flooding, drought,, NOTHING is new or worse now,, and it never was co2 then OR NOW,,

  5. Those who deny these problems bolster their credibility by featuring spokespeople who speak well. Greenpeace needs to do the same. Whatever your expertise, delivering your message so falteringly undermines your professionalism. This issue is too important to muddle the delivery so badly.

  6. Land use around the world has always been about us,man, top predator ;We've cleared forests for 'farms' which in time have failed ,and now stare back at us ,reclaimed wet areas and peat bogs for habitation ,and taken away entire habitat from ecosystems .Its what we do !Population has always increased if conditions allowed and will continue to swallow us up under one huge footprint .There are things to be done ;Raising awareness until a global conscience kicks in ,to repair natural systems and exponentially reduce our impact ,while addressing obvious bio disasters like clear felling the Amazon and other tropical forests ,before deserts take over

  7. We must stop the CORPORATE Fat Cats of Greed from destroying our lands, our air supply, our very essence of life. Until we do this, nothing will change.

  8. More BS hysteria. Check the data. Earth greening has increased, NASA. De-desertification is being reversed by different projects. China being the most successful. Crop yields are higher. Check the data. Don’t listen to doom and gloom hysteria.

  9. Wish we could re-create the human-made amazonian 'black soil' -it's amazing stuff. There's some ideas how it was created. in short, it contains more life than any other soil in the world n has unique micro-biota that a v small amount re-fertilises a much larger amount of dead soil

  10. I been saying all over the internet last 2 months .. UK produces 40% of the food it consumes. We already have such a level of soil infertility UK has a predicted 30-40 harvests left.
Summer 2018, we lost half our crops. We have 5 years food reserves left. Once they're gone, only to wealthiest 20% UK citizens will have food security
UK is a 'green and pleasant land'. UK has some of the youngest, most fertile soils in the world thanks to being covered by the ice sheets during the younger dryas.
When the UK struggles to have a normal crop (which wont replenish reserves), other major global breadbaskets also fail to produce … When that happens, food insecurity increases the degree and likelihood of violence
every 1 celcius increase = 10-20% crop losses
Industrial big agra needs to collapse. smaller family run permaculture farming needed (yes it CAN be scaled up by rotating crops as in the medieval period)
If a cow's diet includes seaweed, it mitigates the methane in their flatulence

  11. Throughout history, great civilizations have fallen because they eroded their topsoil. (read "Topsoil and Civilization") Loss of soil and water resources due to climate change will be the major challenge facing the human species. Using food crops (corn) for fuel is inefficient, immoral and is only a form of corporate welfare.

  12. Greenpeace needs a better speaker. Um & You know are amateur BS for a supposed professional.
C'mon y'all. Your performance directly affects your impact. Try harder!

  13. Riveting ideas are diluted by poor presentation and speaking skills. Greenpeace needs speaking courses. My god!

  14. Does anyone have an idea how we can persuade the public not to buy Palmoil anymore and meat which directly or indirectly grew from deforestation. It's so sad the hundreds of millions of animals which die every time they burn parts down.

  15. Anthropogenic C02 climate change is a hoax. C02 is plant food and they like the levels we have now better than when it was dangerously low in the past. Soil loss is largely a function of deforestation and industrial agriculture, those practices have not been driven by climate change, rather by corporate interests. The climate is changing all the time, humans manipulate the weather, not the climate. The sun drives climate and we need to be aware that we are probably going into another ice age, due to the latest solar minimum, so we need to start adapting to that, in a way that works with nature instead of globalist, corporate imperatives. There is a big con going on here. Ecologists have been shouting for years about soil degradation and it's been falling on deaf ears and suddenly this phenomenon is being brought to light, but conflated with the hoax of C02 climate change, in order to push another agenda. Namely the global, corporate state, technocratic take over, of which the 5G smart grid is going to be the key control mechanism and sadly the environmental groups are acting as useful idiots in the game….Wake up folks!

  16. The summary of climate change is easy.
It is the change of humidity in atmosphere, which produce between the (land)and the(seas & oceans) on the other hand…
Occurring of rains, snow, storms, and floods at time and in unexpected places, confirm my theory(the change in the directions of winds)which must be balanced…
How to reduce the heat of the earth and atmosphere?
We must supply the earth with a natural cooling places…
    Results:
    ———-
1- To balance the water vapor which produces between the( ground)and the(seas and oceans )…

2- To balance the pressures of the air in the atmosphere…

3- To balance the directions of winds which caused the climate change…

4- To control upon the storms and harricans…

5- To revive the the first theory of climate change (dynamic horizontal movement).
6- To balance the percentage of gases forming the atmosphere.

NOTE :The lack of water vapor is of land not of seas and oceans…

These studies had completed and sent on July 26th 2000…

  17. Lost of (????)L daily as a form of vapor of water from the ground, has a big effect to rise or reduce of temperature by veiling the rays of the sun,and decreasing the earth's radiation…
Vapor condensation creates clouds that veil the sun totally, earth and atmosphere …
This a mount of water vapor became produced from(seas and oceans)…
This means, the percentage of water vapor which produced from the ground and the (seas&oceans )is difficult…
This means the pressures of the air in the atmosphere are different too…
This case means the change in the directions of winds, which some called climate change and some called global warming, and then NINO and then LANINA, and this year they called global cooling…
    Results :
These directions of winds, must be balanced…
These studies had completed and sent on July 26th 2000…

  18. The occurrence of stoms, rains, ice, and floods at times and in unexpected places, confirms my theory the end of the (dynamic horizontal movement )which needs to balance and it sill under control or balance…
But about earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, sinkholes, tsunami, dry lakes and rivers, flow of water from the mountains and hills, explodeand of eyes water from the ground, formation of new mountains or islands, collaps of mountains ,and cracks on ground,& ,& ,&,they are out of control or balance…

  19. The effects of climate change…
Stortage of 30%of grain productions in many countries, such as France, Argentina, and 60% of grain productions in lraq, and 30% of coffee in Brazil…

    Results :

These differences at winds directions will affect the various agricultural corps productivity by (30-60)% ,this because of the end of the first theory of climate change(dynamic horizontal movement )which needs to balance…

  20. The global radical changes needed are indeed daunting, replacing our Worlds forestry loss sine 1950 represents a mammoth task, let alone reducing none essential food crops, and the livestock industry, and in the meantime our Planet continues to warm and our numbers keep growing.

  21. Don't worry, solar micronova and ensuing geomagnetic reversal will finish us off long before climate change (pole shift is already well underway)

  22. Propaganda. Pure and simple. Please, don't follow these fools. Look at it this way – the government spends a lot of time, money, and resources to get you to believe them. Anything they spend that much on propaganda, means they have an ulterior motive. Pure propaganda. Absolutely no independent confirmation, but plenty of evidence to refute the 'climate change' that's censored because it's deemed 'climate denier'

  23. I sent an op-ed to Washington Post many years ago about using mycorrhizae in agriculture to improve carbon sequestration on soils. They wouldn’t print it.

  24. First it was global warming that didn't happen so now it is another 30 years of pause so that these Fakers will not be accountable(dead). And now it is Climate change. Are you foolish enough to believe this.LOL

  25. What a joke—more land is getting ruined every day—there is no slowdown—in fact it’s speeding up.
It’s way too late for humanity and it’s soon to be 8 billion mouths to feed.
