TRNN’s Ben Norton continues his discussion with Boston teacher Nino Brown, of the ANSWER Coalition, on the links between US militarism, gun violence, and police brutality. Nino Brown argues militarizing schools and more heavily arming cops will only make the problem worse.

  1. Come on guys, this is nothing, real news is Plan parenthood killing 370,000 kids everyday, report that real news and stop bringing irrelevant people to interview and trying to make them expert when you know there not. Please stop your bias reporting.

  2. This should not even be tolerated!
They don't do this in the Suburban schools, Private schools, Catholic schools,
or Even in Predominantly White schools.

  3. In a "War on crime" the populace becomes the enemy. You are to be contained and policed. The less attention to draw to yourself the more likely you are to be unscathed, but that's still no guarantee. They don't require your approval, only your civility and silence.

  4. Nearly every one of these shooters has had mental health problems. Of course, this is not a problem in itself, but when you add in all these dangerous pharmaceuticals which cause hallucinations, paranoia and thoughts of harming oneself and others, then you have a recipe for disaster. Pharmaceutical companies make billions. They hide harmful research and knowingly put drugs on the market which cause problems. They are never held accountable for the harm they do. These are some of the worst drug pushers and they are destroying the youth with large cocktails of drugs with varying side effects. You rarely find that these murderers are confident, healthy well balanced and happy.

  5. So because of ONE of the JROTC members who had deep mental health issues you're calling the whole program fascistic? He'd already beem expelled from the school long before so how could the program have been responsible?

  6. The frequency of alleged mass shooting incidents in recent years, and the fact that some of these incidents (Las Vegas, Parkland) have coincided with documented public safety drills, should raise suspicions. It's not conspiracy theorism to ask legitimate questions about contradictory statements by parents, students and alleged crisis actors.
