20 thoughts on “Kaiser Permanente strike enters third day

  1. All health care workers should have free healthcare including their family members because they are at the front line of every diseases.

  2. Kaiser Permanente is a great employer. Employees in Kaiser Permanente is receiving higher pay that other employees in other healthcare facilities.

  3. It seems like most of the support for the strike is coming from people outside of CA. If you lived in CA, you'd know that Kaiser pays better than any of its peers. And the staff at Kaiser are notoriously rude.

  4. Kaiser workers get paid more than most other hospitals. Not sure why they are complaining.

The demand to work in healthcare is declining. It will be short staffed no matter what. A pandemic will do that.

  5. Kaiser has more managers than workers. I manager per two workers, while ten years ago 1 manager for 10 workers, Kaiser likes to waste money.

  6. Of all the healthcare workers that deserves a pay raise, I’m least concerned about Kaiser workers. There are more deserving healthcare workers elsewhere who don’t have a union backing them up with a strike every other year.

  7. Kaiser, invest in your front-line workers. You are paying your CEO and administrators way too much. Meanwhile, your front-line workers are struggling to put food on the table. We are working in Healthcare, not a fast food restaurant.
