The strike involving Kaiser Permanente employees across the U.S. entered its third day on Friday. The union representing the health care workers authorized the three-day walkout that began Wednesday morning in several states and Washington, D.C. Kaiser Permanente is a great employer. Employees in Kaiser Permanente is receiving higher pay that other employees in other healthcare facilities.
It seems like most of the support for the strike is coming from people outside of CA. If you lived in CA, you'd know that Kaiser pays better than any of its peers. And the staff at Kaiser are notoriously rude.
Staffing shortages are primarily due to shortage of skilled labor. Kaiser pays higher than market pay rate.
Kaiser workers get paid more than most other hospitals. Not sure why they are complaining.
The demand to work in healthcare is declining. It will be short staffed no matter what. A pandemic will do that.
All coz of Unions they are destroying a great company and best place to work. Nurses are already getting 100k plus minimum in-terms of salary and benefits
