Israel-Hamas war: 2 month pause in Gaza fighting proposed for return of hostages | LiveNOW from FOX

Israel has submitted a proposal through Qatari and Egyptian mediators that could include a two-month pause in the fighting in Gaza in exchange for a phased release of the remaining 136 hostages, multiple news outlets report via two Israeli officials. Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said he will not make public any of the plans for a possible ceasefire or hostage release. The news comes as 21 Israeli troops were killed in the deadliest attack on Israel since the ambush by Hamas on October 7, as Israeli troops descend on Khan Younis, Gaza’s second largest city.
