19. Corporate socialism is to blame for the failures of true American capitalism. We need to get rid of too big to fail parasites. Dismantle the Federal Reserve, Bayer-Monsanto and the corrupt corporate lobbyists. Restore an honest money system and rebuild a strong middle class. Give power back to the regional mom and pop farmers because it will allow unhindered intestate commerce and provide healthier organic foods. Sovereignty is guaranteed by law of our Constitutional Republic, we are NOT A DEMOCRACY! I agree that trickle down theory and supply side economics are corrupt ruling class double talk. But taking profit out of healthcare and education combined with having a workforce with rights doesn’t equate to a socialist system!

24. Tardy, it now being July 7, 2019, but this is another very fine interview with Larry Wilkerson. Much appreciated. I've listened to interviews with him for the past 14 years or so and always found them good. Thing is for people to LISTEN-UP. As for democracy in the USA, I think it's been in its " death bed " for many decades, since the assassination of President JFK, if not even earlier. Real democracy requires a socially and politically, as well as economically, educated, intelligent population; unbiased and critically objective, rather than subjective, selfish, … population. It must be widespread. Well, it seems that so-called schools don't teach intelligence. They also don't socio-psychologically evaluate graduates, only issuing diplomas to those who pass exams; without any consideration about their psychology. Even psychopaths get through this. Remember, some psychopaths have high levels of academia and get their degrees or diplomas, only because they pass the final exams. Take, f.e., the province of Quebec in Canada. Is it a democracy? Legally, by law, so by political legislation, YES; but, there's a big BUT to this too, it isn't really or seriously democratic in practical terms, so in practice. Many people, voters anyway, are biased, "politically tainted", say. What's essential is to be critically objective. George Carlin comes to mind. He did one show or skit, whatever it's called, entitled something like, " You Have No Rights ", because of the TPTB. All we have is what TPTB permit, iow. Well, that's sadly true. What's needed is some serious Rock&Roll; rock that boat and cause it to flip over. If all goes well, then TPTB won't make the swim back to shore. Sadly, humanity is left with this sort of desperation, and need for survival. Voters need to make this world one of REAL democracy; Venezuela, these days, seeming to be an example, against Guaido, having reasons to be critical about some aspects of their govt, but not ready to turn their backs on that govt, and definitely being against "clown" Guaido and his idiotic supporters. Rock&Roll! There's a concept, if not principle, in computer science, and it's " Empower the User ", a concept that too often is neglected. Empower The People, so The Population, is what's needed, rather than misleading or trying to mislead us with a bunch of charlatan, …. political candidates.

36. I was expecting Col. Wilkerson to focus most of his analysis on the vast expenditures of our military industrial complex. But to my surprise he decided to tackle the 400 year old wound of race and the overarching change of control this country is going through, from an old white capitalist class to a emerging intelligent underclass that is brown. Col. Wilkerson makes me proud and glad I served in the US military and wasn't all in vain.

37. Larry Wilkerson talks about the need for an elite class in America. I'm wondering what his definition of elite is. I hear him railing about greedy people who are ruining America– does he consider them to be elite? If the so-called elite wete about making life accessible to all Americans, then I can accept that definition of elite. But if the elite stand in the way of other Americans that they see as being inferior, then the elite can hang as far as I'm concerned.
