As we delve into these two missing person cases, we want to bring you into the process and show you how we go about choosing which cases to focus on, how we choose our locations, and what we believe could have happened to these individuals.

CASE DETAILS:
Robert Kuhl is 81 years old and was last seen on January 2, 2022 driving a blue Honda Civic with license plate AGC0517. When we look into a missing person case, we start by trying to create a profile of the individual. We want to know who they are, their history, if they are older or younger, and if they were a veteran.
But, we also consider other possibilities such as the fact that Robert may have been carjacked, or he could have decided to take a trip to visit family. However, according to his friends, Robert doesn’t have any family. So, we have to keep an open mind and look at all the possibilities. The Colorado River is a major factor in our search as well, and initially, we had planned to search along the river for Robert and William. However, the river is drawn down for the winter, making it a less likely place to search at this time.
We use a program called SARTopo to map out a 5-mile and 10-mile radius from where Robert went missing. We then use this information to decide on the locations that we believe have the best chance of finding him. We look at factors such as the community he was living in, and if he lived in an area near water.
In conclusion, we want to bring you into our process and show you how we go about searching for missing persons. We use all the information we can gather to create a profile of the individual and decide on the best locations to search. Our goal is to bring closure to families and bring their lost loved ones home.
