We never know what our next river treasure hunting adventure is going to find, especially when we go scuba diving underwater in the lakes, rivers, and waterfalls here in Oregon.

On this episode of Adventures with Purpose we’re skipping the scuba gear and dropping our new fishing magnet into the water at Lake Billy Chinook here in Central Oregon for some underwater treasure hunting adventures.

Excited to continue our testing of the Paralenz Dive Camera along with the OrcaTorch D860 Underwater Flashlight.

This is our first-time magnet fishing and we wanted to show the POV (Point of View) not just for others to enjoy, but so we could see what we may have missed.

Sure enough, we missed finding the lost cell phone and 2 walkie-talkies in the lake. 😡😤

Magnet fishing for lost valuables though is a great sport and one that most anybody can do without having to buy expensive dive gear like we normally dive with.

I’m thinking while most refer to them as fishing magnets, I might just have to coin the phrase, Adventure Magnets or Adventure Fishing Magnets. Every time I tell somebody I’m going magnet fishing, they think I’m fishing for fish with a magnet. 🤣

We have personally pulled 4000+ pounds of garbage out of the lakes and rivers this year. … 〽️🙌🏼

At the end of the day, we feel amazing about our efforts with all the garbage we remove from the lakes and rivers in our attempt to help save the planet, the fish, and the animals. 🐟
