I think my theory with the cell phones would be more like they dropped them while taking selfies etc. It never occurred to me that you'd find actually good/interesting things in the river etc. I think doing this you need two bags, one for good stuff like gucci glasses lol and one for trash. I wish I weren't disabled (and I terrible swimmer on top) so I could do things like this. That said, the body of water near me that is most in need of clean up is more things like shopping carts and bikes. People have actually died in the reservoir because they got tangled up in the junk at the bottom. Every ten years or so they drain it and clean it out, but sadly it's never long til people start dumping rubbish again. At least there's no cars in it, small blessings, I suppose..

11. I just discovered you guys and was browsing the videos. In Wisconsin when we go tubing we bring bags to pick up any garbage along the way. We like to call it the river store because you never know what you will find.
