We never know what our next river treasure hunting adventure is going to find, especially when we go scuba diving underwater in the lakes, rivers, and waterfalls here in Oregon.
On this episode of Adventures with Purpose we jump back into the frigid Deschutes River here in Bend Oregon for another underwater treasure hunting adventure.
Good thing we’re layered up with warm clothes in our scuba drysuit!
It wasn’t more than 30 seconds being underwater in the river that we found a lost diamond engagement ring.
That wasn’t the only ring found in the river.
We also found VW keys, a flip-flop, crawdad trap, and even had a strange looking fish inside.
Of course, we also found the bottles and cans as seems to be the norm on every dive. In fact, I’d be surprised if we never found any garbage, but unfortunately, that’s just not the case. π₯
We have personally pulled 4500+ pounds of garbage out of the lakes and rivers this year. … γ½οΈππΌ
At the end of the day, we feel amazing about our efforts with all the garbage we remove from the lakes and rivers in our attempt to help save the planet, the fish, and the animals. π
