In this episode of Adventures with Purpose, we head back to the Willamette River by the Sellwood Bridge in Portland, Oregon to search an Old Mill Lumber Site underwater in hopes of finding something good.

WE FOUND ANTIQUE SAWMILL BLADES!!!

Not only that…

We also found an old-school cash register underwater in the river.

Crazy… RIGHT?

Think about these saw blades just laying underwater waiting to be found 100 years later.

Pretty sure the cash register was stolen.

What’s our next underwater treasure hunting adventure going to find?

  2. Surely yโ€™all donโ€™t throw things back in if u donโ€™t want it? I thought the purpose was to clean up the river? Iโ€™m hoping it was a joke ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ anyways, love the videos!!

  3. I don't meet up at least he's back with his family and God all that and Heaven God bless him and you guys have a good lovely Tommy have fun God bless everybody thank y'all can't have fun without that

  4. At 4.37 its a VW motor . Its up side down and the crankcase has rotted away. You had your hand on the crankshaft pulley. At 4.40 you have your finger on the top edge of the right hand cylinder head. And by the look of the inlet manifold below your thumb its a 1300 or 1500. 1966-1971. Eariler rather than later as it had the domed hubcaps, not the flatter 1500 style ones. At 4.51 you put your hand on an old car battery. at 5.00 you have your hand on a rear wheel of a beetle or kombi. Its hard to tell but its pre 1968 wheel with the domed vw hubcap and trim. You say its truck so i'll say split screen kombi but it could be beetle or variant. Neat saw blades.

  5. Jared a while back you pulled a tractor from a river. Did the owner ever show up, or did you restore it or scrap it?

  6. Just happened to see a comment where you said Sept 16 is your birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‚
My six year old and I enjoy watching your videos every night before bed. Keep up the good work. โ˜บ๏ธ

  7. Love your videos and all you try to do to help families who have lost family in the rivers. I saw the snow cat video. Do you have a general time frame when you might be giving it another try to bring it to the surface? Stay safe and healthy

  8. So early in the video you talked about the water level being low….. I assume with all the crying about the heavy cash register, the water level is now restored? lol

  9. Check out the story of a missing young man named Ethan Kazmerzak from Hampton, IA. Heโ€™s been missing since 2013. He and his VW Jetta have not been seen since. His last known cell phone ping was at the corner of 190th street and Olive north of Hampton right between Otter Creek and several old gravel quarry ponds/lakes. $100k reward still stands for his discovery. This is a story perfect for your group to check out.

  10. Just wondering if by chance there would be some sunken logs somewhere along it since you found all them old blades My fiance subscribes to your channel

  11. I hope Dave is ok. I have to say that I really like your new video format, etc., very neat. Thank you for sharing your adventures โ™ฅโ™ฅโ™ฅ

  12. Have you look up what those old antique saw blades go for on eBay??? I'm seeing prices from $100 – $150 each… Might not have any cash in that register but sounds like there is in those saw blades!
