Found my first iPad in the river while scuba diving for treasure. 💦
Also found a trolling motor, phone, sunglasses and more while river treasure hunting.

We never know what our next river treasure hunting adventure is going to find, especially when we go scuba diving underwater in the lakes, rivers, and waterfalls here in Oregon.

On this episode of Adventures with Purpose, MrLeisek jumps in the Deschutes River by Sunriver, Oregon with Griffin for another underwater river treasure hunting adventure.

Griffin was super stoked to find a trolling motor underwater, and the crazy thing is that it still worked. 🤣

While I usually find phones in the river, this was the first time I found an Apple iPad while scuba diving.

We also found a phone, crawdad traps, crutches (which we have no idea why they were tied to the pillar), golf balls, a shotgun shell, a fork, street sign, sunglasses, shoes, and even a shovel.

Plus we found the run of the mill bottle and cans as we do on every diving adventure.

We have personally pulled 3000+ pounds of garbage out of the lakes and rivers this year. … 〽️🙌🏼

At the end of the day, we feel amazing about our efforts with all the garbage we remove from the lakes and rivers in our attempt to help save the planet, the fish, and the animals. 🐟

  6. In the spring the Laughlin Colorado river regada. A huge river float with hundreds of people floating down the Colorado river at the same time. On rafts inner tubes etc.
    Now that would be a really fun dive area after the regada or anytime because of the items lost there.

  19. Have you thought about getting a underwater metal detector you might find more phones and coins I know you already find plenty of trash and other debris underwater
