We never know what our next river treasure hunting adventure is going to find, especially when we go scuba diving underwater in the lakes, rivers, and waterfalls here in Oregon.

On this episode of Adventures with Purpose we started out with the intent of magnet fishing over 100′ deep at Lake Billy Chinook here in Central Oregon but quickly changed our mind, throwing on the scuba gear and jumping in for an underwater treasure hunting adventure instead.

You can imagine our surprise when we pulled 8 more radios out of the lake in the same spot where months earlier we pulled 7 radios out of the marina.

The boss has got to be made about that one.

We also found a fishing rod underwater.

That’s on top of the 16 plus pairs of sunglasses lost in the lake.

Other items we found were 3 watches, crawdad trap, golf balls, bottles and cans, of course, lots of tools, a flashlight, lighters, a plate, and even a fork. Even more than what I’ve listed, but you’ll have to watch the video to see it all. 😉

Now I need to clean up the Oakleys and see if Don Fassbender is really sending me Wisconsin Ice Cream.

We have personally pulled 4000+ pounds of garbage out of the lakes and rivers this year. … 〽️🙌🏼

At the end of the day, we feel amazing about our efforts with all the garbage we remove from the lakes and rivers in our attempt to help save the planet, the fish, and the animals. 🐟
