But that wasn’t the only goldmine of river treasures we found while scuba diving the Deschutes River here in Bend, Oregon.
You never know what you’re going to find and/or get yourself into on your next treasure hunt, especially when you go scuba diving and hunting for river treasure here in Central Oregon.
On this episode of Adventures with Purpose, our team set out on another underwater treasure hunting adventure in the Deschutes River here in Bend, Oregon.
Every time we get in the water and go scuba diving, it’s a new treasure hunt which never disappoints as we tend to always find a goldmine of treasure and river garbage along the way.
During this adventure, we found not only the run of the mill bottles, cans, balls, clothes and such, but we hit the jackpot with an office chair and sunglasses, a switchblade knife, and a slew of other river treasures resulting in over $675 in found treasures.
Have personally pulled 980+ pounds of garbage out of the lakes and rivers so far this year. … 〽️
At the end of the day, we feel amazing about our efforts with all the garbage we remove from the lakes and rivers in our attempt to help save the planet, the fish, and the animals. 🐟
