Out of air in 90-seconds after scuba diving emergency. β οΈπ¦
I was scuba treasure hunting in fast river rapids when it happened.
You never know what you’re going to find and/or get yourself into on your next treasure hunt, especially when you go scuba diving and hunting for underwater treasure here in Central Oregon.
On this episode of Adventures with Purpose, MrLeisek sets out on another underwater scuba diving, treasure hunting adventure at the First Street Rapids here in Bend, Oregon.
Every time we get in the water and go scuba diving, it’s a new treasure hunt which never disappoints as we tend to always find a goldmine of treasure and garbage along the way.
Well, that escalated quickly!!!
My regulator had not been serviced in years and I knew I was pushing the limits every time I jumped in the water for another dive.
Lucky for me I was less than 10 feet underwater when my regulator went into free flow lockout draining my entire tank in less than 90-seconds while I was in the fast-moving current below the First Street Rapids.
Before the dive emergency, I was still able to find a few river treasures like the old hard hat, fishing pole and some old metal tool bins of some sort.
But that wasn’t all as we always seem to find the run of the mill bottles, cans, dog toys, clothes, sunglasses, and garbage.
Have personally pulled 2000+ pounds of garbage out of the lakes and rivers this year. … γ½οΈ
At the end of the day, we feel amazing about our efforts with all the garbage we remove from the lakes and rivers in our attempt to help save the planet, the fish, and the animals. π

Tripped me out letting your secondary hang like that in a river dive. I donβt like mine loosely hanging. But i wish I could dive with you! Is that water cold or do you always wear a dry suit now.
