15. There has NOT been an immigration policy for 40 effing years. Both sides want it that way b/c they’ve not passed any legislation that offers up any solutions. We have a do nothing Congress with a crazy MAGA wing of the GOP who are clueless on how to govern. Dems are ineffective at calling the opposition out. We are a rudderless nation with no leadership. It’s very sad and dangerous for Democracy to have to choose between tweedle dee and tweedle dumb in 2024.

To me its more about Biden reversing Trump's wait in Mexico policy and when he announced he did he wasn't forthcoming about the criminal background check and COVID screenings being part of Trump's wait in Mexico policy. And as you would imagine his supporters never even asked themselves what the two week wait in Mexico was for. It was Trump's border security policy for God's sake not Trump's border inconvenience policy. Biden is a lot smarter than people give him credit for. He knew good and well if he'd mentioned the fact that reversing that policy did away with the vetting process that even his most dedicated voters would have questioned that move. Oh well, now we have over 14 million unchecked immigrants amongst us and they could very well be terrorists waiting to attack from the inside. But we'll never know since now we have no legal right to ask them.

20. They are finally waking up ?? Every legal citizen is being cheated by the illegal influx. There was a procedure in place at Ellis Island. Why didn,'t they follow that — who sponsored you, do you have a relative/friend to stay with, do you have a job? Then they were checked for illnesses, some quarantined til well, some not allowed in.
