Privatization is theft of taxpayer publicly owned entities by business. After they are stolen they are still funded by the taxpayer. We are paying the thieves for our use of what they stole. It is profiting from the country's disasters by private business. Post Civil War they went into the South to profit from disaster. They were called carpetbaggers.
The American consumer is broke from business credit corruption which help lead to the housing crisis. Now they have targeted the only other consumer, government. That means plunging the country into debt.

Likely a land grab. Scientist are saying we need to live at least forty degrees north of the equator because of climate change so we are living in a habitable place. Michigan has the Great Lakes as a water source so it will be very desirable for the wealthy! I think this guy is correct.
