Milwaukee was ground zero for voter suppression, and is one of the most deeply segregated and incarcerated cities in the country. ive lived in mixed communities my whole life. When speaking with my neighbors of color, I found it interesting that they all had state i.d.. So many of the complaints in the video seems to be a lack of convince about over all voting. I don't see the voter suppression as claimed. filibuster wasn't a jim crow era creation, it started with the inception of our REPUBLIC. Gerrymandering is a distraction, the problem is single member districts. Even in competitive districts large minorities of voters – up to 50% -1 – end up being 'represented' by the clown they just voted against. Is that representative democracy?
Why aren't you, and most so called democracy advocacy groups, calling for single transferable vote in multi-member districts? Have you ever mentioned the Fair Representation Act which would mandate it for US House elections?
Let's be clear, the DNC has no more interest in eliminating the filibuster than the RNC.
It is an extremely useful tool for blocking legislation that the DNC pays lip service to but doesn't really want. The DNC and RNC are partners in crime ripping off the 99% for themselves and the rest of the 1%. As long as the only alternative to a Democrat is a Republican, you can't hold the Democrats accountable. As "Bubba" Clinton so cynically put it, "Where are [voters] gonna go?"

"They [Community Organizers] are canvassing the neighborhoods to see what people need." UH NO. I've been a part of those walk abouts many times. THEY ARE PUSH POLLING to get the answers they want, to drive voters in a particular direction. THERE IS NO VOTER SUPPRESSION TAKING PLACE, but there are still plenty of organizations MANIPULATING VOTERS particularly in low income communities. I love this channel. This particular episode is horse crap.
Of course, they still have to think about how to survive, because Biden didn´t keep his promise to raise the wages to 15$ an hr. then he wonders why people don´t want to go back to work… Dah….and he is not willing to reverse all the voter suppression bills either. All he is interested in is pushing the new world order agenda with his mandates for shots that do not prevent the virus, This is enough to push Anyone to the brink of insanity. and wonder what kind of country are we becoming, They now realized there is no representation for the black community, nor the human community if they don´t conform, it´s becoming more and more like a communist agenda right in the USA. In the last 50 years of recording the voter fraud, the count was 250 fraudulent votes out of millions of votes cast, and 5 out those votes were cast for Democrats. So do the math. In 2021 the voter fraud recorded were All cast for republicans. Look it up.

Oh people need to shut the fuck up about showing a damned ID to cast a vote. You need an ID for many things not related to voting and if you do not have one you do not get the service/product you are seeking. This is nothing more than a pathetic hit piece regarding ID and claiming it is suppressing votes. You suppress your own vote by not voting or doing what is needed to be able to verify that you are a LEGAL resident of the district you are to vote in and present the ID to verify that.

In a democracy voter suppression should be classified as a crime because that's what it really is. Voter suppression is about capitalism/white hegemony. The elite see democracy as a hindrance to their goals.
