Rep. Garret Graves, a Republican from Louisiana, voted against removing Kevin McCarthy as speaker. Graves told CBS News congressional correspondent Nikole Killion that McCarthy’s ouster threw the House into chaos and claimed it was all a campaign fundraising move.

Gaetz (Pronounce Gates) dropped McCarthy like a minor who mentions to her date that she is an under aged minor girl. He dropped the speaker like a sack of sand in the President's path once he found out his blind date is a minor below age 18 years. It's only a matter of time before a cop would arrest a man dating a minor. A few months ago, McCarthy had gotten elected as speaker with much difficulty and much opposition. The removal initiative resulted from ex speaker McCarthy nearly always getting votes of democrats in nearly every issue to get the job done. Congress Matt Gaetz (Pronounced GATES) says everyone need to get back to work. The beautiful wall on the border with with Mexico needs to be built soon, some say.

Terrible reporting. 52% of Rep. Graves' funding comes from PACs, compared to 0.15% of Rep. Gatez (Source: OpenSecrets). 60% of Gaetz's is from small individual contributions compared to 0.12% of Graves. Of course he is going to do email drives. This isn't a surprise.

They will have 38 days from Tuesday next week when they vote on a new speaker and that is only if they can get that done in a day. They could drag it out for days/weeks. The us v. them members of Congress need to be voted out. We need legislators who are willing to work across the aisle for compromise with integrity & civility.
