it should be only 'ideas or policies' that people vote for instead of voting for a person or party .
If people did not respond positively to the lies propagated by the lowlife oligarchs, it wouldn't matter how much money had or how many politicians and advertising they bought.
I mean, how HARD is it to give money to someone without the government keeping track of it. So, regardless of ridiculous $10,000 limits, the donors/bribers are going to do what they used to do. I find this kind of discussion futile, because it's so easy to bypass officialdom and transact in cash or benefits of some sort.
Even your beloved neighbor will melt at the sight of a fat check that is not even pennies to the likes of the Koch Bros. As in the later days of Rome, government seats and even that of the Emperor will be auctioned off to the highest bidder and they will be protected by the Pentagon that has slowly gained a domestic presence.

Can you imagine what kind of person gets up every morning and goes to work knowing they are going to shaft millions of ordinary people men women AND children, knowing their job is to do whatever wicked thing it takes, to allow the continuance of jail for labour, the continuance of poisoned waters and food, the continuance of defunding schools and neighbourhoods and stealing of land, and evicting families from there homes, the list goes on! Can you imagine what kind of person does that?! But they are there, every morning in their 1,000s!

It doesn't matter which country you're from big money from foreign interest groups from Big Business should not be part of the political process and laws should be put in place to deal with this in every country.
Yeah, lets keep Soros and Bloomberg money out of politics.
