Blaming Banks or Government for Not Enforcing Their Side of the Bargain? (Swiss Referendum 3/3)

There is no easy monetary fix for the problems of modern capitalist economies says Jo Michell who argues that deep problems in the economy cannot be solved by trying to control the money supply while nothing is stopping the government from ensuring money gets created for good purposes, including government services and infrastructure

  1. There's too much greed..these people don't wanna' share..perhaps they need 10 car's, a personal jet, a mini-mansion 4 them & their wife..a private island..off shore account's to avoid taxation..maybe that makes them feel better..maybe that spiritually fulfill's them..maybe it's the power that they think they have over people's lives to fill their fragile lil' ego's..One thing I'll agree wit' in America..there's A LOT of thing's that need to be changed..We need to end corporate campaign financing and stop politician's from working @ the behest of their donor's..have public financing..we need to over-haul the criminal justice system..legalize marijuana..put drug addict's in clinic's..do research, de-criminalize & "LEGALIZE" kratom as a heroin deterrent(has proven to be affective)..that will take A LOT of ppl. out of jail..which MOST ppl. are in jail off of "non-violent drug offences"..that would save $..focus on violent crime AND corporate crime..anyway..That will probably CUT-DOWN the violence..INCLUDING south of the border..citizen's can pay taxes for free healthcare and "universal" education..maybe k-16..end "The Military Industrial Complex"..cauz' what are we really fightin' 4, anyway? Payin' weapon's manufacturer's and oil? Ok..Have the govt. spend $ on "green" infrastructure project's..that will create new job's..green energy(solar, wind, geothermal, electric-powered car's..the elimination of plastic's)will allow us to save $ on bill's, clean-up the environment, "the water supply"..and that $ saved on bill's can go 2 increasing the minimum wage..Have EVERY country that's not American "register as a foreign agent"..you already know what I'm talkin' about..stop aidin' & abettin' in their genocide & doin' their biddin'..there's A LOT we can do..but I feel that ppl are too greedy..too obsessed w/ power bc they have an inferiority complex..too obsessed w/ fulfilling some "religious prophecy" that was CREATED by king's ironically..that TOO MANY ppl. have been duped into believin' but MANY PEOPLE ARE WAKIN' UP..Will we work to fix these problem's OR will we destroy "the earth"..that's the question that need's to be asked..WE HAVE A LOT of work 2 do.

  2. The Central Banks need to be destroyed and governments (esp America) needs to print their own money. Its an absurd system.

Central Bank prints designs on paper and calls it money
Government buys this otherwise worthless paper with a huge amount of interest which the citizens pay via taxes.

This gives complete control of all aspects of the country to the banks and puts a huge tax burden on the citizens for absolutely no reason.

This guy is either stupid or shilling for Central Banks.

  3. I got a good idea. Every country stop borrowing money at interest and print your own from the treasury. Now currencies will not be born into self perpetuating debt. Back the country'scurrency by the countries main staple food crop.
Quantitative easing is a fancy way to say invisible tax on the people.
No good gets more expensive, the value of our money and labor is just being devalued.

  4. "If the economy were better, then we wouldn't need to regulate banks" I think banks should be stripped of their ability to create money just because of that idiotic statement. It's obviously the other way around. If the banks were regulated (as they were under FDR) then the economy wouldn't be in the toilet. Wasn't Goldman Sachs responsible for the two biggest depression of all-time? This guy is an idiot!

  5. Using a robot for the host instead of a real person makes this difficult to watch. Please upgrade the robot or maybe wait until the technology can provide a more palatable viewing situation.

  6. Problems where none exist. The problem is with the deluded mind that creates them. Money is as simply as simple gets. It’s fuckwitts that act like dickheads to exploit.

  7. On a crucial point such as quantitative easing there was no push back by the interviewer when the guest says it makes no difference!? Really? Banks get a get-out-of-jail card by accepting low interest cash in exchange for tarnished goods without strict restrictions and limitations on their future functioning and that's not a big deal!!? There's a reason why it's called 'helicopter cash' in Japan. The long term effect on main Street is killing and it prevents cash that could go to real business and real people instead going to banks and securities! I'd say, that was a big deal. Yet, the interviewer says nothing.

  8. The explanations given by the guest aren't that good and I wish the interviewer had pushed for greater clarity on certain terms and processes in banking today just as, another RNN anchor, Sharmini Peries does! Also, pls fix the audio!
