  1. ** Bernie is an IDIOT !! ** He is disaster and poverty creator . Socialism creates poverty ,injustice, corruption, crime and slavery !!

  2. seriously, this argument of common labor representation could lead to mandatory minimum wages, benefits, options like being lined up with local work if your getting laid off if not mandatory severance packages and other very reasonable expectations like oversight in evaluating CEO and other 'supervisors' of all kinds getting more equitable pay rates?

  3. New York has the earliest voter registration deadline of October 11th. 2019. Please, register as a Democrat to vote for Bernie in the Primary.

  4. The power of the people FORCING this change must be massive. It's REVOLUTION time, folks. We do this now or we continue to slide to even more poverty and less power. This is a unique time – seize it.

  5. I am a life long union supporter and member and have my union to thank for what I have. That is why I am baffled by union leaders lining up behind Biden, who along with Obama,, did nothing. but spit in the face of working people. Richard Trumka on Labor Day weekend got on TV and bad mouthed Medicare for all which is desperately needed by working people.

  6. When there is more competition and less monopolies, then unions will not be needed but the case right now is that corporate mergers are often made.

  7. Human Resources in the USA seems very barbaric! I live in New Zealand where unions are present but they're not as big as in other countries. Anyway, we get way better conditions than you guys. I try to not take my paid time off for granted!

  8. Unfortunately this kind of labor agitation will incentivize businesses to continue to send jobs off shore and increased automation. Many job categories will be automated i.e. truck drivers, cabbies, fast food cooks etc.

  9. when unions where strong….the salary labor compensations had an advantage for most part because of the scare of unionization…it wasn't equal, but it was of benefit for the weak.

  10. The alternative media should begin a campaign promoting Bernie and his policies; this is essential to balance the anti-Bernie bias in the corporate media.

If Bernie, America's most popular politician loses in 2020 a cynicism will grip the country which I foretell will have dire consequences.

  11. In accordance with the PCOC's recommendations, the Department of Justice's Organized Crime and Racketeering Section, working with various United States Attorneys' Offices, devised a strategy to use criminal prosecution and civil RICO lawsuits to eliminate such corrupt influence and/or control of particular labor unions and their affiliated organizations.  As of 2010, the United States had obtained relief in 24 civil RICO cases involving employer associations and labor unions including the IBT, LIUNA and the HEREIU.  Such relief has generally consisted of the appointment of court-approved monitors to oversee the operation of particular organizations, supervise the election of new officers, and discipline or expel officials and members for corruption or knowing association with organized criminal groups.  The results of the Department of Justice's strategy in 23 of the civil RICO cases can be reviewed on Civil RICO Manual Appendix B (starting on page 343 of the pdf).  The implementation of that strategy continues under the guidance of OCGS' Labor-Management Racketeering Unit which supports federal criminal prosecution and civil RICO litigation in cases involving labor-management relations, internal labor union affairs, and the operation of employee pension and health care plans in the private sector. https://www.justice.gov/criminal-ocgs/infiltrated-labor-unions

  12. Same old corporate crap, labour needs a seat on the corp. boards the only way they can force their share of the peofits down hill. The private police and public police of the past need to be muzzled and brought on board so they cannot be used through terrible laws to break organized Labour's ability to negotiate.

  13. Wow, another news show I can watch, like TYT, Rising, Rational National, etc. These news shows will informs us how the filthy rich and greedy have been waging an economic war against working people.

  14. It's time to pass a JOB BILL. Enough of illicit WARS. There's a shortage of truckers, if my research is correct, WHY can't I walk in trucking school and the government pick up the tab? Why can't College be free? This is maddening!
