Bernie Sanders Drops Out Of Presidential Race

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is suspending his presidential campaign. Sanders’ campaign—which had embraced taking on the Democratic party establishment and taxing the wealthy to fund social programs like universal healthcare—struggled after former Vice President Joe Biden’s decisive victory on Super Tuesday, and after suspending virtually all in-person campaigning in the coronavirus pandemic. Even though Sanders is dropping out, polls show many of the ideas he helped popularize or embraced- like a $15 minimum wage and Medicare for All are embraced by a majority of Democratic voters. Sanders won over young voters of all demographics but struggled to win over African Americans.

  1. I have much respect for Bernie sanders and contributed monthly but was he the cowardly lion in Frank L. Baums wizard of OZ. this underlay of political symbolism to it that the farmer—the scarecrow was the farmer. He thought he was dumb, but he really wasn’t; he had a brain. And the tin woodman was the laborer in the factories. With one accident after another, he was totally reduced to a tin man with no heart on an assembly line. And the cowardly lion was Sen. Bernie Sanders who kept trying—was a big politician promising to make the world over with political revolution. That being said Bernie Sanders did speak to the issues needed and put them on the consciousness of America. And inditement on corruption of the political and economic system.

  2. Is it possible for Sanders to give his delegates to another democrat to take his place ? Can an Independent or whatever party(outside the democrat/gop duopoly) run for president at this time prior to November 2020 ? Please , any and all , replies !

  3. The US constitution should not be a closed book ! Thomas Jefferson said the whole Constitution should be rewritten every generation . What we only need now is to allow for the riddance of the electoral college and federal laws since , which make it almost impossible for a third party candidate . Then an independent or other party candidates could win office from the town level, to the congress, senate and presidency . I and many would fight with our lives for a proportional representation parliamentary system

  4. Sanders is a pussy. Pushed around by that hag Clinton and now a political hack losing his mind. Go live on your millions asshole. 🖕🏻

  5. @10:10 "RACIAL JUSTICE???" How did u fight for racial justice when u dId NOT support REPARATIONS??? 🤔. Just saying the words "racial justice" isn't good enough. In fact, u didn't support ANY proposals that Specifically helped the descendants of Slaves who are still suffering from the effects of Slavery & Jim Crow. I get sick to my stomach whenever Bernie says the words "RACIAL JUSTICE." And I used to like Bernie & supported him in 2016.

  6. I think it’s hysterical how all the rabid Bros thought old white man Sanders would beat the old white man republican in the general when he couldn’t even beat the old white man democrat in the primaries! Bye Bernie. Good riddance!

  7. I wonder how many millions Bernie funneled thru OLD TOWN MEDIA this presidential run? Jane Sanders' friends at the end of a cul-du-sac…
There is a good reason Bernie's tail was between his legs 2016. HE is in it for the money. Notice he stopped saying 'millionaires and billionaires' this run….now that he is a millionaire?
