We need bold, unapolegetic progressive politicians, who don't bend the knee to right wing reactionary forces. 40 years of neoliberalism has destroyed this country, it's time for a wholesale replacement of the neoliberal democratic establishment. I actually don't believe the Democratic party is reformable, I support a third party like a Peoples Party. There are strong progressive leaders of color like Nina Turner, Cori Bush, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, so I don't agree with her slightly cynical take; that being said, her people have been oppressed in a way I can never know
Don't think that Georgia has changed. The state legislature is still Republican-controlled. The next legislative session begins on 01.11.21, and a bill is being introduced to restrict the use of absentee ballots to "protect the integrity of the vote." If no fraud was found in the last elections and this was verified by two recounts–then why is this bill being introduced? It is a blatant attempt to disenfranchise voters.

Progressives' work began by fighting for election integrity in the last 2 primaries. They failed. Then their work was in refusing to vote for a corrupt party that rigs their own primaries. They failed. Then it was not voting for the largest upward transfer of wealth in history during a pandemic. They failed. Then it was passing Medicare for All and actual economic relief during a pandemic. They failed. THEN it was passing M4A and actual economic relief once millions of progressives initiated #ForceTheVote and demanded it of them. They failed. If you're still a reformist, loyal to the Democrat party, you are useless to progressive movements and policy. #DemExit is the only sane way forward.
