  1. The police appears to tell our leaders no, were doing things our way. Didn't they once tell our state officials they could be their friends or their enemies

  2. @The Real News Network : Very fine episode, and I wish you ALL well, but at 40:00 or so Stephen Janis speaks and refers to an organization named something like States Streets (exact spelling?), saying one member of this activist org. was stopped, I guess arrested, for selling some "dope". Well, police in various parts of the USA have been and still are involved with the trafficking of "dope(s)", and it hasn't only happened with the LAPD and NYPD, f.e., so … ?. And what was the person selling anyway, only cannabis? That would make arresting the person for this act all the worse. Anyway, fine episode. Wish you all well.

  3. Hate to be negative but, here's the sad truth: Capitalism is out of control, politicians have been baught off by the rich, the Supreme court doesn't function properly, and the voting system is rigged…..as a result, the Rule of Law is one-sided….it serves only the rich. With that said, who do we turn to for help? I know this sounds really bad but, i think most working class people feel a semblance of this…what are the answers?

  4. I think we need to stop kidding ourselves that either of the two major, corporate, right-wing parties is ever going to represent the interests of working people, much less people of color who are being held down to bear the brunt of unfettered capitalism. We need another party, a true people’s party, whose purpose is to represent the interests of working people of all colors and backgrounds if we ever want our government to truly represent us.

  5. I totally disagree with this notion that old school cops were not as violent as the police cowards are today. NO! Policing in this country is based entirely in racism and money

  6. Fact: Policing in this country is working exactly the way it was designed and the way White America wants it to work. The Native Americans know this truth which is why they fought back virulently

  7. I think we also have to look at why public safety is left as the only option for working class folk to earn something like a middle class to upper middle class lifestyle. The people going into policing today are the same type of guys who would go into low to middle level skill jobs in manufacturing or construction because those jobs have been outsourced or the surplus labor of Latin America has been allowed entry for the purpose of filling jobs for lower wages and benefits. Create more jobs that offer sustainable wages and benefits, you will see fewer unsuitable candidates going into law enforcement.

  8. Is very sad to see my people get killed by police the African Americans are welcome to africa any time America is not a safe place for the black people let them come back to Africa is a nice place to live 🇬🇲
