  1. I use Duck Duck Go Browser. Works for me. I even use DDG to search on Google. It gives a breakdown of trackers.

Was really eye-opening to see how many trackers are on Google, Amazon, even CNN. It's quite ridiculous, and I'm surprised more restraints/controls haven't been put in place. 😮

  2. I don't mind an ad before and after the subject I'm trying to watch. It annoys me when there's multiple ads during the video. I'd only be happy to watch an ad during a video is if it was from the person I was watching like a sponsor they were pitching as it's just in flow with the video but I can't stand the creator being interrupted for a random bs ad

  3. I'll be honest, I don't care if Youtube devolves back into users doing videos for fun again, and the site just as an ad banner at all times nobody is bothered by. I don't mind if commercial channels, yes, the majority of channels perhaps, just fades away. It'll re-emerge naturally. Eb and re-emerge. Rinse repeat. It's like stepping into the shower and feeling fresh again. New small youtubers are born and actually watched…. they grow … etc.

  4. I want Youtube to undid their mess
Membership may damage every video that under that
    because

if people not paying for their plans
I don`t think they want to pay at all

because Linus doing it the same price as their own tier

making me pay £26 a mouth to access all videos which was the point of the platform

  5. You mad saying ads are a little out of control, holy shit they totally out of control and its gone beyond abussive! And criminal!

  6. Oh, let's not forget the security risks of ADS! Half of them are plain simply scams, end in malware infection or pishing attacks. The other half is promoting overpriced and often dangerous garbage.

  7. Never ever will I pay for this shit.
YouTube ReVanced is a way better app in way more ways than blocking ads.

I barely use my PC for Youtube, but my Adblocker worked fine recently.

  8. I could lose YouTube, social media, or whatever that proves they don't want me as a customer. I follow, use, and all the rest, but advertisers download crap (and I mean in a derogative since). I remember before adblockers, I had to restore my computer at least monthly. Now, I rather leave the service(s) that will force this bunk on my computer I own.

  9. ANOTHER thing that P!SSES me off too is the 'Cookies Consent' on web pages… IT'S A MESS! There's no STANDARD to them, JUST GIVE ME – 'I Consent' / 'I DO NOT CONSENT' buttons!!! FAR TOO MANY TIMES I've searched for something, clicked a news article or gone to a web page and had MANY DIFFERENT 'FORMS' presented to me to scroll through to 'Untick' various 'Vendors'/'partners' or cookie features/options etc… THERE SHOULD BE A WORLDWIDE STANDARD!!! Like, the FIRST THING YOU SEE IS – 'Agree' (Accept), 'Disagree' (Reject) and a 'Customise'… There are STILL TOO MANY sites that you can't INSTANTLY 'Reject All', but are forced to click a 'Customize' or scroll for ages to 'Untick' this setting and that setting and the other friggin setting etc… 😠😠😠😠
