  1. In The United Kingdom, the photography kit included, MiPad 6 included, 1/2 TB with 16GB included & £50 off also. That's a whopping £700 saving if pre order.

  2. So how much better is the camera lense build in this model in comparison with the 13T Pro Model?

I am in love with taking few snapshots with my 13T Pro the quality is really good tho

  3. Xiaomi is pronounces Show (how you would say shower) and me. Show-me. Not show like I will show you how to say it but sh-ow, show-er, Show-me.

  4. Why make a video and bold claim even before you get your hands on the device? These are cheapster tricks, if I see one more video of this kind, you'll lose a subscriber.

  5. Step-less aperture on the main, 1 inch type sensor, photography kit, 4k120fps on at least the best sensor, I think it’s time to start looking outside the US. Outside of Sony, no one is giving you this level of control on a smartphone camera system.

  6. The S24 Ultra take about 1hr to charge. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra takes around 40 minutes to charge. The IPhone 15 Pro Max take an eternity to charge.

  7. Actually can't believe this is available in the UK! Think this is going to be my next phone 🫶😂 will pre order it at the end of the week

  8. So, they are essentially selling a camera with phone capabilities. Not bad if you're the traveler at heart or like to capture the moment. You won't need a lense, a big carrying case, etc. You will just need your mobile phone.

  9. All the cameras on the flag ships are good Samsung iPhone One plus so getting a phone for only the camera you will get that with any of them big boys. Question is how good is it with the chip, heat management gaming, screen and so on…

  10. camera is a beast…essentially you're buying a camera with smartphone functionality….they say "the best camera is the one you have with you" and you can't do much better than this with a mobile phone camera…..

  11. As someone who is very much into "full sized" photography (i.e. mirrorless and DSLRs v.s. Smartphone), I was initially very excited about the Xiaomi – the variable aperture on a 1" sensor is technically a genuine paradigm changer for smartphone photography.

But actually thinking about the use case scenarios, I think having it max out at f4.0 is going to limit how much of a real-world difference the variable aperture is going to make v.s. a fixed one.

I am not sure how much difference it really makes: you have an aperture range from f1.6 – f4.0, how much difference does that really make v.s. fixed aperture cameras most of which are set at f1.8 +/- 1-2?

Subject separation/low light performance is going to be pretty much the same as a fixed aperture camera. F4.0 is too low a maximum aperture to really get the sharpest images during brighter shots.

Quite honestly I think the need to have a compact set of elements in the lens is going to mean that (unless we go to the super thick phone bumps of the Nokia camera phone days) you aren't ever going to get to the level where a smartphone camera is genuinely equivalent to a "premium compact".

  12. all these camera tricks only for it to fail at the end of the year in MKBHD blind camera test when compared to the likes of pixel/apple and samsung.
