1. Stick two outdated phones together does not make it better.
   Sales flop.

2. Looks great but if priced at 999 dollars it will be D.O.A, 2 yr old specs and not a true expensive foldable display but 2 connected by a hinge, those huge bezels, i would not price this over 400. Or am i not understanding the price of a hinge.

3. Everyone wants a thin dual screen device, a super fast processor, and large screens, but it has to last all day and fit in your pocket easily. Oh yeah, they want a premium build at a low cost.

4. The hardware is way too weak. Will wait for the v2 to check it out. Geez the One plus Nord and the pixel 4a kill this thing on the hardware side and they cost less then 400. Get real.

   This is not the same category.
   Galaxy Fold is a screen that folds. Surface Duo is a device that folds.
   Unless Microsoft want to shoot themselves in the leg (again), they should price it as low as possible, even at a loss, to get the customers. Then they can increase the price in future generations.

11. The one time where Android Central and Windows Central would focus on a same product! I wish Microsoft would ditch UWP in favor for android as they acknowledged themselves that UWP isn't the future. With Microsoft shifting to Fluent design that's much more mobile looking like android, and embracing android as the Windows Phone counterpart in the surface duo, can we expect Microsoft to replace Microsoft Store with Play Store? Remember Microsoft recently launched an Xbox store for Xbox games so Microsoft Store doesn't stand a chance.

23. This is so bad. Yet another boring fork of Android with a Microsoft twist to it. It could have been interesting if it ran on Windows. But we all know the story of Windows Mobile and its failure. Microsoft just cannot into mobile phones.

39. I thought they avoided forking android and worked with google on this. Wasn't there talk about google adding code to deal with dual screen devices soon after the duo was talked about last year?

40. I love the fact that the v2 is in production. I almost never get the first run, so the second gen would be the sweet spot for me 🙂

41. As much as I love the idea of this phone and the short-wide screen format as opposed to tall and skinny – if it gets priced too high I won't be buying it. I may be in the minority – but I really preferred the 16:9 screen format way better than the newer 19:9 – 21:9 formats …. I'd like to see it priced around the $499.99 to $599.99 price point – any more than that will be a tough sell … I know – I am dreaming – but hey … I can always hope … lol.

42. Nowadays midrange phones come with 7000mah battery in 6.5 inch screen body and duo has 3460mah..good for hands on only

44. I held the upgrade of my smartphone last year (Note 10) because of this device, I'm hoping to get one on arrival, but if the price is $1000 I am going to pass, I mean is a cool idea but the specs are almost 2 years old and I'm trying to overcome those huge bezels.

45. There is a Microsoft surface duo V2 in the process. It might be worth the wait seeing this duo won’t have 5G or wireless charging and no face recognition.
