  1. Stadia is the best!! I've tried all the others and the rest all lag besides GFN which I also love! I have no lag with stadia. I will never console again!!

  2. When will companies learn that the key to success is good marketing. I never saw a single advert for Google Stadia and only discovered it when Xbox series x/s was launched. You can't sell a product of no one noes it exists and you can't expect all gamers to be watching the internet news.

  3. This shit is "clicks without context". These outlets are ROOTING for Google to fail at these things. They didn't bother to read into, just fire off some zinger headlines and let the clicks roll in. Fuck this report and fuck these outlets just spouting hater bullshit.

  4. not yet dead -but in like 1-2 years dead…… as I predicted few months ago – but then I was called stupid – sorry – this technology is NOT ready yet – and people ALWAYS will want to sale their purchased game which Stadia is NOT offering – and there will be always people who will want to play they favourite game in 10-20 years on PHYSICAL copy of the game that is why Stadia WILL BE DEAD – not quickly – but it will be!

  5. Sadly will never ever get to experience major cloud gaming services, none have ever been available in my country anyways, and probably never will

  6. Everyone has overlooked that a few weeks before Google announced that they were killing off SG&E, there was a Bloomberg article stating that Amazon floated half a billion towards developing games for Luna that have resulted in 2 mediocre games and 1 outright failure that had to be pulled back for further development. I wonder what were the state of the games that were in development…

  7. What I don't like about stadia is connecting the account and chromecast to a TV. Annoying Process. So I sold that stadia controller and chromecast .Anyway I play Stadia on my Cheapass laptop, but I pay for fast internet. I'm satisfied with the service. Nintendo Switch is my console of choice if I want to play on my console. Also im excited for Outriders for Stadia.

  8. I can’t believe this that’s sucks. I don’t get it I don’t even have that great a Wi-Fi to be honest I’m running like 14 Mbps And I have been enjoying myself now I knew when I purchase stuff that it would probably lag but I tried it for a while and was like this is not so bad. Like I can’t see why they wouldn’t want to maybe like invest in developing a product that improves the Wi-Fi connectivity for gaming or something I don’t know. Not to mention I just spent like $70 buying a bunch of games the controller and stuff

  9. I've been using the service for 4mounth box, i could not afford a new gaming system so I did go all streaming.
I got a chromecast ultra for free w pro subscription
And using my note 10+ w a ps4 controller and usually a lap dock w dex for a laptop experience.
It works seemlessly even with LTE.
I can play rdr2, cyberpunk, ac odyssey valhalla on the go with a super versatile solution.
How can one even buy a new gen console…?

  10. It's a great concept and it actually performs very well (better than I expected). I am not moving forward with it because both my kids and myself prefer to play on our computer or Switch and really do not have time for a third platform… if Google does not pull the plug on this prematurely, it may be our next official "console"

  11. if we look at how video streaming has progressed, everybody went from having their shows on Netflix, to creating their own streaming services and pulling their shows from Netflix (like Disney with Marvel, or NBC with The Office, etc.).now they use their exclusive content as their main draw.

I think Google realized that cloud gaming is heading in that same direction, and most publishers will not care enough to port their games to Stadia because they see it as a possible future competitor and they're probably going to end up pulling those games from the service in a couple of years. also, these companies have decades worth of content to offer their users while Google was starting from 0 and it would be almost impossible for them to catch up.

I think at this point it's obvious Stadia will end up like Google play, iTunes store, or Vudu. by licensing their tech (which is clearly the best of the current bunch) for studios looking to create their own streaming services, Google basically forces them to port their entire catalogues to Linux. then they can have BOTH a Stadia-powered subscription streaming service AND sell their individual games on the Stadia store for those who don't wish to subscribe (much like you can buy episodes or complete seasons in the existing video streaming stores). of course, those companies could also decide to sell games themselves, but that would mean running an online store and that would bring its own challenges and added cost.

also, those cloud-only games that Google promised would probably come courtesy of one of these services, so not all is lost. and as for Stadia Pro, I think it would become more of an indie game kind of thing where the small guys can reach the masses.

  12. I got a stadia as a free promo and was only kinda excited about it. I love it now, and just because they switch to these party games (saves money) does not mean it is dead

  13. Google TV Chromecast did not launch with stadia support, everyone was moaning, but maybe that was the plan all along?

  14. Microsoft has been in the video game market for over ten years now. Google just started. Give it time to mature. The game library keeps expanding. Great deals every month. There are many start ups that Google kills but it still amasses revenue in the billions every quarter. Just be objective when you write pieces. Give the entire information.

  15. I’m beginning think there is some sort of coordinated effort by larger game console companies to kill Stadia via social media. I have a PS4 and Xbox Series X and both of them are literally collecting dust. Stadia is the best thing to hit gaming in recent memory. No roaring fans, no downloads, access anywhere. I can see where people who have not actually played on the Stadia Pro on their television or do not have decent internet have issue, but I’ve had Stadia since March and so far haven’t had anything but an amazing, smooth experience.

  16. Stadia has good tech but with GeForce now and steam library, that’s more compelling, and new laptops are coming as well, with ryzen 5000 and nvidia 3000, which does have more horsepower than current ps5 and xbox sx

  17. I love Stadia, just not many good games available.

They need to think about how they can get masses playing and in my opinion it’s cross platform play.

Start with Minecraft and Fortnite. This will pull in many other players. Then build up from there, big co-op RPG’s will do it maybe look to consolidate it into other existing services that are popular. You own YouTube, why not try and go against twitch? I’m available for hiring btw.

  18. I couldn’t be more happier that this shit service died. It was dead when launched but Google pumped up money on this project to keep it artificially alive. Good riddance of rubbish .

  19. google is a toxic company. they already ruined youtube. they censor and stifle creativity. if they had a stake in the gaming world it would be horrible
