  1. 1.Stock android appearance with thoughtfully added features and more customization.
    2. $600 price
    3. 8gen1+12gb ram
    4. It doesn't need four cameras on the back but two good ones (wide+ultra wide) with the same large sensor, sensor stabilization, and tof sensor for focusing would be nice. One thing they could do to differentiate the camera hardware without adding more cameras is to bring back variable aperture. They could also use a different focal length than what most smartphone companies use for their main cameras. I'm thinking 35mm equivalent vs the 26 or 28 most use. This would lend a more professional look to the photos and would allow pleseant looking portraits of faces without the need for a telephoto.

  2. A very minimalistic but unique design
Very clean software but not stock android (like oxygen os)
Not gimmick cameras like 2mp macro, just a very good single camera setup is fine for me
A very good processor but not flagship level (to bring the price down)
A unique design in accessories too (like oneplus charging cable)
    A very good formfactor
    Very minimal packaging
That would make me buy this phone
    .
    .
    my hopes are high

  3. A stock Android with decent level of clean hardware and decent (not extraordinary) cameras – a Nexus /OnePlus / Essential spiritual successor..!! I'm very intrigued. If it works as anticipated, sign me up please – just remember to have that headphone jack and micro-sd slot.

  4. OnePlus 5t! I still have it, although camera app freezes at times and AT&T no longer supports it, I still use it for my daily mobile apps. I just want something similar but more robust OS and 5G.. more RAM and faster processor is a plus

  5. I had a 1+ 7pro I was very happy with the fast action and big screen if this nothing can do all that 1+7pro can do and more for less then
    $ 1,000 I would buy it

  6. As long as it's more than just a boring slab candy bar, I might be interested in it. It's getting to be where phones are like trucks (aside from the Tesla Cybertruck of course). They all look like each other and there's only so much differentiation. It's why I enjoy using the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, great hardware and software and a unique experience. Give me a unique experience from Nothing and I will be excited to buy it!

  7. Ok…so let's break this down abit..my takeaway from your video is mainly the issue of optics. You make it sound so much more complicated for them to overcome that hurdle than it is…and actually one of their options you yourself stated was a benefit earlier in the vid- their ownership of ESSENTIAL hardware.. And honestly let's be real about optics..once you get to a certain megapixel the rest is handled via processor and software, just as with DSLR and point and shoots. Also if Nothing wants to compete by releasing a "no frills" or a ONE-PLUS killer then I would expect optics to be around the same as Samsung's A13.
Essential is only 1 of the avenues they can go . They could partner with LG's optics partner (Schneider-Kreuznach) as LG has washed their hands of the smartphone business and no longer on the market(or won't be by the time this phone would be in production)…AND that's just another avenue. But you knew all that already, or should have😉 And I'm just spit-balling here..So there are many paths to victory here depending on whom they wish to attract.
Here in America I'm not to familiar with the brand Nothing(hinthint sample me baby!) But I bet by what I have seen(keyword seen, swagalicious!) they want to hit the sub $400 Mark usd..which is basically those with A13s and Nord 10 5gs. Nokia and Motorola have tried and failed-ish to achieve that market share..As I believe Samsung is just giving away the A13s so the brand has exposure(hey look I got a galaxy)Honestly saying I have a galaxy doesn't mean as much or carry the gravitas it once did. That ended with the S9.

Of course take my opinion with grains of salt….along with a lime and tequila shot.

Samsung here(and possibly worldwide) has literally flooded the market with multiple, mulitple phones, each week having a different one as it's flagship. That could project to some as a company trying to please everyone everywhere..and that sometimes backfires. (Ex. Sony) It could make them look as if they are unsure of direction, and that could make them vulnerable. That would be a good time for a phone like this to hit the market.. Partnership with Telcos would bring it home such as T-Mobile or MetroPCS here in USA.
It would be nice to see a company put out a sub$400 phone that could take the wind out of the mighty Galaxy's Sails..Not a knockout blow, but a hit that would require stitches. This company seems to have the mindset to not to take over the market, but take that piece that ONE-PLUS could have had; the everyday person who wants a phone they feel is worth the price, not the hype.

Ok..maybe take it with 2 shots.(call me Nothing!)

  8. I think it might not succeed if it happens. Nothing is a very small brand and the average consumer simply does not know who they are, and building brand awareness with the general public is HARD. Nothing would need to make a phone SO good that even the general public know and want to buy it, and that's likely too much to ask. Enthusiasts just aren't enough.

  9. Nothing
    Please bring the headphone jack
    Custom rom support
    And flagship killer pricing
You guys can be the king if you can bring it everywhere

  10. 1st of all the "flagship killer" is a strong start then get the pop up camera of op 7 pro, the back panel design of MI 11 ultra, 5000mah, fast charge, and lastly a godlike os like oxygen is enough to bring the nothing phone in the smartphone scene.

  11. If Nothing launches a phone than user's like me will definitely be in by giving a farewell to their OnePlus phones in which Oxygen OS has been killed by Color OS😎😎

  12. I should create a phone and call it the "Everything Phone." Lol. Could you imagine that video on YouTube: "Nothing vs Everything phone." Lol. Definitely a catchy title for sure 😊

  13. I feel that everyone knows that components aren't that expensive so a lower price below that of the redmi/realmi something that pushes them.
A solid camera with a mix of Google's ai with Samsung/Sony's sensor zoom mesh.
A good length of battery may be around what the pixel 6 sits at
    A clean UI
and of course an SD card slot & headphone jack
