DONT REPLACE THE REAR MAIN SEAL UNLESS IN IS LEAKING. your are more likely to ** it up than it is to leak on its own.
For non mechanics, that means he has to drop the transmission he just put in, because the rear main seal is where the engine and transmission meet, because its leaking oil.😊

That didn't really nearly blow the engine. If you were a complete moron and kept driving it until it had no oil and then continued until it quit. But that would take a lot of effort to get to that point. A lot of really focused effort on being intentionally stupid.

Usually when do the clutch you should do the rear main seal because it’s right there .

You say the only seal you messed with how did you mess with it?
Every engine job tranny, clutch job I have ever done included a rear main seal, a front tranny seal a rear tranny seal a some times even a diff seal. I always be for I put said tyranny back in would test the rear seal an pilot bearings simple details only had two fail and found factory defective during the test.
That is the ugliest transmission I've ever seen 😂
