Many years ago I broke the Auto transmission cooler hose in a UK GM car. The dealer wanted a couple of hundred pounds for each hose, I went to a hose specialist who made 2 hoses that were braided steel for £120 for both with a lifetime warranty.
My dad had one, but 2 spark plugs welded themselves into the head and were no good. So it had 10 cylinders but only 8 were making power.

You are so right what you said at the end of the Video , these old Mercs are such a Joy to drive I own 2 x CLS based on the same Platform, a 500 and a 320CDI and love them both and only cost 3 grand each 5 years ago , then I just picked up a super cheap 2003 SL350 here in the UK for only £2250 and after sorting the brakes and new tyres it drives like a dream, and good thing with the 350 although its slightly slower than the 500 they don't have ABC so lot no ABC issues to worry about.
I'm sure everyone knows that car companies can build cars that can last 15 years without any issues. But if they made this dream come true we would see so many car shops, component lines or even the cafe and pub next to the places that sell the new bits to fix your 7 year old 100 grand car go bust with the car companies. It's all about keeping the money spinning cause if it stops there are no jobs.
That Fantic PS is probably good for a few boosts losing it's capacity soon after. Sorry, but no deal.
