  1. You don't do 2 clicks. You only tighten the nut till you get one click on the wrench. Otherwise, you are over-torquing the nut.
Most torque wrenches are accurate to plus or minus 4 percent of the setting. If you set it to 100 Foot Pounds, the actual torque applied will be between 96 and 104 foot pounds. If your torque wrench has not been calibrated, it could be even less accurate.

  2. so if i torque a bolt to 20ft lbs and then set the torque wrench to 19 ft lbs it should click before it loosens the bolt right?

  3. I’m confused… it looks like you set it to the 90 mark, not the 100 mark??? It wouldn’t be that line right where 100 is??

  4. Yeah yeah do the obvious easy measurements. What about if it starts at 19nm and the next number is 26 on the opposite side but you need 25nm? The numbers on the handle only go from 0 to 6, so how do you get 25 genius?🤦‍♂️

  5. Good morning brother , there are different ranges of torque wrench, which range is suitable for the Honda CR-V 2018 model, 40-210 NM or 10-150NM of torque?
    Thanks in advance

  6. I only need 7 foot pounds. Do I just set it to zero and move the dial over to six or eight because there is no seven?
The dial just goes from zero, two, four, six up to 18.

  7. Hi Chris, I haven't looked through all the comments, so this may have already been said. But you must have your hand over the load centre of the torque wrench. If you hold your hand half way along or use a pipe, the torque delivered to the fastener will change.

  8. I doubt this will get answered as this is a very old video, but I gotta try. Couple of things- how do you know when the wrench needs to be adjusted from ware and tear? And do you need special sockets designed for a torque wrench, or is this a standard socket size that will work with any socket set? What I’m trying to say is do I need to buy a set with torque wrench and sockets, or can I just buy the wrench, and use my box of sockets I have laying around the garage? Great video! Tia
