what pen do you use to mark the parts?
For honda ridgeline is this possible? Haven found anything about how to change them.

Once a year I get under my truck and grease all the upper and lower ball joints and u- joints

What if the clunk is coming from the shifter on the steering wheel column?
Quick question, at the rear differential I have U-Joint Fasteners on 2 of the end caps. Is there anything I should know other than pushing the caps on and tightening the 4 nuts?
So if the driveshaft is dragging on the ground I need a new u joint?

Saturday, March 9th, 2024….lol I was driving to work in my Jeep Cherokee (1998) and boom! Driveshaft fell off. Without warning, no signs prior.
Thank God the gaskets and everything are fine. U Joint, U joint bolts damaged, along with the rear yoke. Just bought all the parts and am getting to work on it now.

Would you excessive heat after a drive also be a way to diagnose a bad U-joint? The U joint right after my transfer case feels hot after I drive but none of the other ones do

The part that had grooves worn in it are the cross journals. The trunnion is the bore or cradle that the bearing cap fits in.
