How to Change Rear Brake Pads

Learn how to replace your rear brakes. This video will show you how to replace brake pads on rear disc brakes. It takes 30 min to do both disc brakes and is really easy. Brake pads cost $30 and all you need are some wrenches, c-clamps, and a jack to lift the car. ANYONE CAN DO THIS!!!
This procedure will be similar on most dodge and Chrysler cars such as the dodge neon, dodge caliber, Chrysler intrepid, etc.

  1. No tool .comprees piston use block wood acroos both pistons use clamp on center of wood crank it down . May be able old to use old disc pad

I am thinking of changing the rear pads and my question is ' Do I need to take the handbrake cable off the calipaer to change or should i leave it on?' Obviously I will disingage the hand brake to keep the brakes loose. Thanks again ChrisFix

  9. i have a rear brake with a parking brake on it. The master cilinder should be rotate inwards. but how should i do it?
