In my latest visit to the local salvage auction I ran into 2 C8 Corvettes. This is the first time seeing a wrecked salvage C8 Corvette in person; and it turned out to be owned by Rapper Rod Wave. Besides the C8 we also run into a Mustang, Range Rover, Mercedes AMG, Porsche and a handful of other cars!

Those mustangs would be gone in five seconds where I live. I've been trying to find either a 2005-2010 Mustang GT or 2011-2017 Mustang / Mustang GT (basically any Mustang with either a 4.6 V8, a 3.7 Cyclone V6, or a 5.0 Coyote V8) to work on for about two years now and I haven't been able to find anything in my area worth getting. I've been saving up, but I just can't find a car that's broken enough to need repairs I can do so the price is low, but easy enough to repair for one person to actually make it worth buying. Everything around me is either rusted through with frame damage and tons of work needing to be done, or is in such good condition that it's way out of my price range as a college student making minimum wage, and wouldn't even be fun to fix.

Just bought a 2013 X5 35d fully loaded. Has an electrical issue that magically puts it in limp mode (4×4) whole driving. Clears on restart. If you want to make a video, I'll bring her to you!

A battery which only asts a few years and is so expensive to replace as to render a very expensive, luxury saloon car redundant…Thereby totally negating its raison d'etre…Think of all the energy consumed in building this car, the enormous amounts of pollution, the huge quantities of oil used to produce the plastics, the rubber, glass, metals, plastics, leather..the pollution created by the employees getting to and from the factory, the pollution and carbon created by the import/export of all the materials to build and then ship the thing.
I keep saying it..BMW has a very high 'perceived quality', but scratch the surface and they are ridiculously over engineered, poorly designed, appallingly built dross. Utter rubbish cars. Lift the covers and look at the toy town wiring..The cheapest materials possible everywhere you look.
