Day 1 of Sick Week definitely lived up to the hype! Lots of fast passes, close competition, and problems! One of the biggest problems had to be PFI splitting their engine in two pieces! It’s only day 1 and things are already crazy!

  1. I like yellow cars too Fred… especially that one! I mean, it could be baby poop and upchuck all over a dogs dinner color and id STILL love it!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

  2. Fake giveaways, they give the cars to there friends. Just like Heavy D Sparks. Your giveaways are bullshit. Here buy are merch so are friend can get a cool car… 🤮

  3. man these dudes got the life..no jobs..dont work an they millionaires ..people donate to them money to watch races..amazing

  4. Wow, can't believe these are street cars, I tend to forget those times. Some true geniuses out there. Just got one, I love your American flag T-shirts.

  5. If he says it's 1100hp at 64 psi and it held closed giving it all the boost (80psi) you'd think it would be more than 1400 hp but that's my thoughts… plus their some of the best Honda guys around & truly I'd love too meet Brent & all the boys and tour the shop cause I'll be Honda/Acura fan always…

  6. The only time I've seen a split block was in Top Fuel.

It wasn't just a split block. It was a crank and eight pistons still attached to it in front of a rearend, still attached to the clutch and trans.

The block was GONE. Blew completely out of/off/removed from the car.

Do they want to start ARP-stud-securing the motor via straight down from heads to the oil pan rails?

Fun fact: Detroit Series 60's have ten bolts per cylinder with ONE MILLION POUNDS of clamping force per cylinder to keep those heads down!

  7. thought all the tech in the new engine managements would be able to prevent a wastegate fail tearing a block in half at 80psi they need a fail safe of some kind

  8. F1 cars of 1.5L turbo era [1977-87] had up to 6 BAR boost[90psi] . Up to 1400hp in qualifying , 900hp race trim. They could make the car suddenly fly with deadly results. Many drivers were lost due to power being far ahead of chassis design and F1 turbos went away til 2014. A benefit of this new era will be the near instant electric motor turbo impeller spoolup [til xhaust takes over] from these engines that will propel store bought turbo new cars in the next few yrs. Every BAR of boost should make your engine output increase by that number. Ex. 1.5 l x 6 BAR = 9litre [550 CID] — F1 1.5L NA= 225HP x 6BAR = 1350HP

  9. I can’t stand these announcers constantly flapping their gums the whole time with the PA turned up way too loud. When your trying to hear the damn cars that you came to see !! Nobody wants to hear you rambling on about stupid shit. Just announce what class is up, and who’s at the line and that’s it.
