I bought this lemon BMW i8 at a steep discount at auction because multiple shops couldn’t figure out its overheating issues. This repossessed supercar looks great, but will only run a few minutes before it starts overheating… Here’s how bad it is!

  1. Every BMW I’ve ever had that had the similar problem as yours I had to bleed the system that is automatically built in to thr technology..good luck 👊🏻

  2. The prior owners are all crap I bet. I want to get one but scared. I currently have a 3 series though and it’s ran well. I’m awful with cars though

  3. Sam I love your channel. I have an odd question. Why are all your cars scattered around your farm and not all kept in the same area possibly all in line?

  4. A thermostat fitted back to front could also cause blockage, also a badly graded cooling hose could water lock "vacum-fold in"
A vacuum lock could also happen if the coolant one way safety valve was manufactured back to front… Replace the cap for good measure as they are serviceable every 20,000km and no one ever replaces it…

"I have had to discale old engines with expresso coffee machine discaler… Disolve it first in water fill system, run vehicle till working temp, empty system immediately, flush system twice, refill and test it…

Discaler will remove any kind of possible calcification or sealer that could have gone down the wrong gally and it is rubber seal safe. (Do not do this procedure if there is sign of liquid gasket being used in the block assembly)

  5. "If you've got a computer, there's no reason you shouldn't be using honey". Except maybe "An error has occurred Access denied". So much for the sponsors.

  6. That might have been the best product plug I've ever seen on youtube. You earned your $$$ on that one for sure. Hilarious.

  7. anything can be fixed …….. my car was overheating I replaced all the valves tuned and ported new head gaskets .. the 10% ethanol leaves alot of deposits in motor .. I recently did rebuilt a motor .. ran 10% ethanol 6 month's later deposits already forming when I took heads of for new cams and springs . now some cars have oil coolers that get clogged .. I rebuilt mine for $20
