  1. Good efforts so far but TBH i would salvage what i could/insurance will let you and send the boat on its way and keep decent parts for another project

  2. Can you please learn Port and Starboard instead of saying left and right. While you are at it boats have heads and not bathrooms.

BTW: you boat is trashed. Water soaked into every wood structure and the wiring harness will corrode out over time. This is a total loss.

  3. Give it 2 months, unless you rewire every connection and cut the wires back about 1-2 inches and clean with baking soda and vinegar things will start to fail one by one!! Especially if salt water!!!!

  4. What in the world are you doing with that cooling system? It looks like no sea cock is between the through hull and the sea strainer, that is NO GOOD!! Never going to pass a marine survey of any value. You need more information to complete this work by yourself and your auto mechanic. sorry to be a downer….

  5. That ceiling looks terrible. It had fabric glued to it and it came loose. Instead of scraping the glue off and sanding it smooth, whomever painted it left most of the glue ridges.

Time to get the boat out of the water, into a heated building, remove everything removable.

  6. Please don't do another boat build. It was painful enough watching this one. You are clearly out of your element. I really hope you are not sleeping on board this boat when the electrical fire happens.

  7. man, fly me out to PDX, ill do all the labor on me, as long as i get to put some work into this beauty – as in painting the interior, any other remodels you may want. Ill make the paint look as smooth as the Veneer. Just get me my flights, and food, ive got someone in Camas, where i could stay.

  8. You could try vinyl wrapping the wooden trim. I’ve actually done multiple boats interiors before and they didn’t even have anything wrong with it just to update interior not a bad option compared to replacing
