  1. I bet its a immobiliser on the fuel pump, if not check see if relay damaged or missing due to drainage for shipping. then fuel pump replacement after all that. my skylime came with no fuel pump relay

  2. In japan alot of garages put a small amount of fresh oil on new spark plug threads to stop them seezing in the cyclinder head. In the uk we use a small amount of copper grease.

  3. Chris, why don't you clean the engine bay (after inspecting everything you need to) before working on it?
By the way, I love your stuff. I think I watched every one of your videos, ever since you had 40k subs 🙂

  4. Some vehicles I’ve found don’t even prime, they just run the pump when the motor’s running. My Pajero io I recently rebuilt the motor in was the same, pump didn’t kick on whatsoever until cranking.

  5. Im assuming you dont wash anything so people like me comment but I feel like cleaning everything forces you to look over the whole car and notice simple problems like loose wires.

  6. if you see this great but this isnt early efi days. the fuel pump turns on when cranking and or running. if it turns on with out cranking something is wrong with the circuit. on Toyotas its called a open circuit relay that triggers the pump. look into it when you get a chance.

  7. This is totally random and not related to the Toyota, but tell me you purposefully put the stickers on the Lemons build in such a way that they read “Eat Ass” when the front door is open and you can’t see the rest of the stickers

  8. I like your "anti-tweaker self-defense sword". Lol I don't know if the Supra utilities the same safety system as my car does, but my fuel pump will not prime unless my foot has fully depressed the brake pedal. This system was used in a lot of Chrysler vehicles and DSM vehicles on the time frame. It was meant so that if you accidentally left the car in gear when shutting it off when you started it again you didn't lunge into stuff.
