  1. Looks like your U joints were lined up together. They are designed to flex properly when opposed. If you care , or if I am correct 🙂 lol Awesome build, very Jealous

  2. Should be an intake for the exhaust fans to suck air from. Not sure, but right now it seems like with that fan in there right now, it's gonna be tryin' to suck air from the other exhaust (eventually vent hole). Maybe put an open hole around the back center console area for the fans to get some fresh intake air from there.👍

  3. That rear seat hood is sick! You should get some stuff to make it legit like heat skin/sound deadening the inside and something nice so it latch’s like catch latch or even a hood latch that the driver has release for. Put some threaded bumps so it shuts nice like a car hood. Maybe smooth the bottom edge
Either cushion it or have some sort of skin cushion to match the front seats.
    Just tossing ideas but,

Love watching the jet boat videos keep it up 👍

  4. Definitely should heat wrap the exhaust and then line the under side with some reflective insulation to keep the back seat happy when using that right foot lol other than that this build is legit solid!!

  5. They actually make an easy clean trap that all you have to do is step on it and it pushes down a screen of sorts that clears out any leaves and whatever so you're always pulling in water uninhibited therefore not sacrificing performance. Cleetus McFarland has em on his jetboats that probably don't push the hp you guys are.

  6. Nice work as always guys! I’m from Dunedin, New Zealand where your Scott jet pump comes from!
Anyways, I’m an engineer and we’re taught when working in a confined space you want to pump the fresh air in instead of suck the bad out. You’ll need to have somewhere for the air to go but pushing fresh cool air into the engine hold will be far more effective than sucking the hot air out.
    Keep up the good work.

  7. Jet boat is coming along nicely! May I suggest placing the bilge blowers as low as possible in the bilge. Fuel vapors are heavy and like to hang out around the starter motor 🙂

  8. You should have a n inwards fan and an outwards fan so that it's circulating cooler air because only taking hot air away won't cool the engine if there's no new air going in.

  9. I have a trailer modification suggestion; you both are great fabricators so you shouldn't have any proiblem cutting and rewelding the cross members of the trailer to match the cross sections of the boat bottom. Then you can lower your stringers thus allowing the boat to sit lower in the trailer. That will make launching and loading your boat much easier and you won't have to back so deep into the water, especially if you are using the Hatch to tow it with. Its something you can do in a day or two and you won't regret it. Have fun!

  10. Just wondering couldn’t u just cut a section out of the set cover instead of goin threw the hassle of cutting the intake and redoing it a different way?

  11. When you make 2 vents blowing hot air out i would suggest you make 2 vents at the rear seats at ankle height to let fresh air flow in from the front to keep it cool down there.

  12. bro i been watching you for years i love every content you do just recently my girl pass away from stage 4 cancer just 2 weeks ago she used to watch your utube also with me she told me to set up my own shop as well but I'm not in that place anymore i continue to watch your great work everytime you put out your content keep up the great work your doing inspiration is what everyone needs even though sometimes life throws you a curve ball thank you Kyle i will continue watching along side my girl in heaven god bless you bro

  13. I recommend putting some kind of locking mechanism for the seats so they lock down in place. imagine taking a jump and while mid air you the entire back seat flips open while you have passangers. So please please please make the back seats lock closed so they cant swing open because of a jump.
