On July 27, 2021, Doraville police officers attempted to stop a dui suspect driving at high speeds through the city of Atlanta, Georgia, but abandoned the pursuit for the safety of all citizens.
Despite that, the suspect was identified as Marroquin Jaime Mauricio and was later arrested without incident.
He was transferred to DeKalb county jail and charged with improper lane change, attempting to elude a police officer, reckless driving, driving without a valid license.

Reminds me of a case where a man was stabbing another man & people had to jump in to save the victim & fight to hold the arm of the man with the knife because he was fighting to keep stabbing the man & the good old American legal system charged him with “ATTEMPTED aggravated assault” instead of what it actually was, attempted murder. I hate the justice system in America, it’s actually not even a “justice system” it’s just a revolving door type of legal system that exists solely for money.
Thankfully, he didn't kill someone or himself with all that crazy driving.
No sympathy from me.
He bonded out. Most likely not legal.
So, now he's gonna run, without consequences.
