Man Arrested for DUI Following Minor Car Accident in Atlanta
On December 13, 2022, Brookhaven police officers responded to a minor car accident in Atlanta, GA. The driver of the sedan, who had collided with a Chevy truck, repeatedly denied causing the accident.
However, officers suspected that the driver was under the influence of alcohol as a strong odor of alcohol emanated from him. The driver was asked to perform field sobriety and breathalyzer tests, which he agreed to do. Unfortunately, he failed both tests.
The man was subsequently arrested and charged with DUI, following too closely, failure to maintain insurance, and obstruction.
