On April 30, 2017 a man who was lounging poolside at 9125 Judicial Drive randomly opened fire on a group of people who were at the pool for a birthday party. One person was killed and eight others were injured, seven by gunfire. (The eighth injured their hand while escaping.) The shooter opened fire immediately after he was offered a Jello shot by a party attendee.
The shooter allowed one person to stay and tend to the people he had shot, telling her that she could not take anyone from the pool deck, but that if she stayed he would not shoot her.
Although some witnesses articulated their belief to the contrary, an exhaustive investigation revealed no reason to believe the shooting was racially motivated.

You guys shook that shit off after handling the shooter and got down to business providing much needed medical attention to those victims. Well done!!! You guys should be proud of each other and proud of yourselves for putting yourself in grave danger to protect the innocent victims of that cowardly shooting and doing it with precision and speed.
