On December 17, 2022, Chamblee police officers were chasing a Lexus with a stolen tag in Atlanta, Georgia. It was later discovered that the vehicle was stolen too.
A stolen vehicle pursuit didn’t go far and came to an end when the suspect collided with a police vehicle.
The suspects then ran off. One was arrested moments later and the second was in custody by the end of the day.
A driver was charged with theft by receiving stolen property, reckless driving, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, obstruction, interference with government property.
