Chamblee police officers spotted a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of Bowlero bowling alley in Atlanta on November 9, 2022. As the officers approached, they observed a male suspect exiting the vehicle and preparing to leave in another car with a friend.
Upon questioning, the suspect denied that the stolen vehicle was his. However, officers detained and searched him and found a modified gun and keys from the stolen car. The suspect was subsequently arrested.
Further search of the stolen vehicle revealed the presence of drugs and weapon parts. The suspect has been charged with possession of a schedule I and II controlled substance, theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug-related objects, possession of certain weapons/parts, and possession of marijuana, less than one ounce.
