On February 1, 2021, a Brookhaven police officer was on routine patrol when he observed a vehicle on the side of the road with activated hazard warning lights.
Officer stopped to investigate. He saw drugs inside the vehicle, scanned the license plate and obtained information about the owner’s existing warrant for arrest.
He was charged with obstruction of law enforcement officers, possession of marijuana, less than one ounce and transported to Dekalb county jail.
