On November 19, 2023, Flagler County sheriffs’ deputies responded to a home in Palm Coast, Florida.
A resident there reported that a neighbor, identified as 33-year-old Phillip McGraw, entered his garage and punched him in the face after an argument.
After the attack, McGraw’s stepfather, 84-year-old James Jones, pulled up to the victim’s home and drove away with McGraw in the passenger seat.
Responding deputies eventually caught up to the stepfather’s vehicle and attempted to pull it over, but he refused to stop.
the vehicle came to a stop in front of McGraw’s own home, at which point McGraw ran from the truck towards a canal behind the home.
Suspect then jumped into the canal and attempted to swim away from law enforcement.
The deputy drove to the other side of the canal to catch the suspect, but he jumped in and swam away again.
He was finally caught on the other side of the canal
McGraw was arrested for Burglary of a Dwelling – Occupied and Unarmed, Simple Battery, Petit Theft, and Resisting an Officer Without Violence. McGraw is being held on $32,500 bond.
Jones was placed under arrest for Resisting an Officer Without Violence and was released after posting $500 bond

33-year-old man sounds like a four-year-old, why why why why are you arresting me why? I don’t understand why cops are argue with him, would they argue with four-year-old? Candy and cigarettes. Grow up. When the economic and food Problem hits this year and it’s going to, people better have protection from people like this because they’re going be all over the place. People aren’t safe now and it’s going to be worse.
